Zero star! This is the worst experience ever! The business owners have no integrity!
When I picked up my car, the actual bill $1K was 2 times higher than the original estimated amount I was informed.The parts cost are even higher than the dealer’s genuine parts.
Unfortunately, some part not work for my car and keeps making abnormal noise! The owner Wing agreed to refund for the part and labor of this part. And I got replacement at dealer’s store.
They gave me a new receipt, which says that they refunded me $ 283.09.
However, after one week, when I found the notification email from my bank and logged in my bank account, no refund but a new payment of $283.09! I was shocked! I’ve never seen people doing things like this!
I tried to call the owner, no response!
I sent the bank details proofs via message, no response!
While the mechanic at Alexander Motors is undeniably skilled, my recent experience left much to be desired, particularly in terms of pricing and clarity. Despite the mechanic's evident proficiency, I found the quote provided to be ambiguous, making it difficult to fully understand the scope and cost of the work required. This lack of clarity ultimately led to a feeling of being overcharged, as the final bill was significantly higher than anticipated.
Moreover, upon further investigation, I discovered that the same services could have been obtained at the dealership for a more affordable price, coupled with a more comprehensive warranty. This revelation only added to my frustration, as I realized that a better option was available, one that would have offered greater value and peace of mind.
In conclusion, while the mechanic's workmanship is not in question, the overall experience was marred by pricing issues and surprises of fees. The lack of transparent communication, and inexperienced front office workers leads me to a 1 star rating. Customers should be able to trust that they are receiving fair value and clear information, something that was unfortunately missing in this instance.
They went above and beyond to get me back on my cross-country trip ( the radiator blew up). Excellent service, excellent quality. I can not say enough good things about my experience, I wish they were in my hometown. A hidden gem in Wichita!
These guys work hard and they’re honest to the core. They’re always busy for that fact and you might need to call in early for a an appointment. Weng is a very experienced guy and unlike most mechanic shops in town, they’ll try their best to fix your vehicle without ripping you off.
This place told me that they would look at my car soon, but the soon was exceeding a week without letting me know an estimate of when they can take a look at it or if they even looked at it. Shouldn’t there be some type of communication ? rather than me driving everything I had to communicate. I had to drive 20+ mins to them to find out information because they couldn’t answer their phone. At first they said “oh the technician hasn’t given me an update.” Later on, they said they couldn’t find a time slot to put in my car. If they would have told me the truth initially that they are very busy and given me an estimate truthfully I wouldn’t be this disappointed. I called several times and when I complained that no one was picking up in person, the lady told me there wasn’t an answering machine for the phone. When I got there in few days later again, I saw her answering the phone. I don’t know if they looked down on me because I am a student, but the customer service was really not the best and they were very insincere. How am I supposed to trust you with my car? My car was parked exactly the same place that’s how I knew that they didn’t even check it. Never going back. Although this place was recommended to me by a friend, never referring this place to someone.
Alexander Motors is a 5 star auto service center in every aspect! Wayne is an exceptional mechanic who is extremely thorough in his work. His wife was a pleasure to work with as well. My wife and I are from Nebraska, and bought a car in Wichita. We had a problem arise with it, and the car sales center sent me here, as they "trust no one else, and said they are the best." We agree!! I wish we lived closer, as there would be no-one else I would go too. You are very fortunate Wichita to have such a mechanic in your city!
I took my car down to have the motor mount replaced and they were very efficient!. Got my car back the se day. It still needs work but as soon as there's money for it I will be having them work on it again. Very pleased.
They had my car for 6 weeks this last time it was in their shop (went in 4 different times since October). The lack of communicating the issues they were running into was enough to make me crazy. Not once did they call me to let me know what was going on with my car... not the progress or lack there of. I refuse to send my vehicle there because it's obvious that communication is not something they can pride themselves in. It took myself and my husband blowing up their phones to get answers and those were more like excuses. They were told to begin with what the issues were and never once did they listen.
