After an accident, I got body work done on my Mitsubishi Mirage at Alex's and I'm so happy with my experience. The guys there did an AMAZING job and my car looks the same as when I first bought it. They also returned it to me in mint condition giving it a thorough cleaning job inside and out. Before going to Alex's I went to several body shops in the S. Philly area and had an unpleasant experience with all of them. As soon as I told them I was paying through insurance, they all saw nothing but dollar $ signs and tried to convince me that the damages were going to cost more than what my car was worth. It didn't help either that as a woman they thought that I didn't know anything about cars and could fool me with their sales pitch. I dealt with Jeff at Alex's and he was the complete opposite. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to repair my car with the money my insurance approved and didn't try to ask for more. He was FAIR and HONEST. I don't normally write reviews but I am beyond grateful to everyone at Alex's for my experience and I definitely would recommend everyone in the Philly area to save themselves the disappointment and just go to Alex's if you get into an accident.
Awesome service! Got my car back looking practically brand new! Excellent customer service, high quality work, and it was done in half the time I thought it was going to take. This was my first body shop experience and I highly recommend.
Got my car towed there after an accident and was waiting on insurance. They were really helpful since this was my first accident and I had no idea what to do and I have no family nearby. I just filed my claim and they took care of the rest. My insurance ended up totaling the car, but the owner and front desk lady never treated me any differently even though he was getting a significantly lower payout from this, helped me get my things, and said sorry for my loss. Really great, 10/10 will absolutely go again if I ever need work.
Had the best experience here after getting into an accident. They found me, towed me in minutes, took my insurance and also called and filed my claim for me with my insurance. All I did was sit in the air conditioned office. When I got my car back it looked new again they even washed it and vacuumed it. Would def go here again.
My car was hit from the side while I was parked. Damage was extensive. Picked it up today, beautiful job, looks like right out of the factory! I recommend them highly! Just don’t break their stones, the shipping of parts are taking some time to arrive, not their fault.
I feel compelled to write this review because Alex's Auto Body was professional, courteous and timely. They made my car look better than it ever has, and they did it for $400 less than the insurance estimate. This was a left front quarter panel, bumper, headlights and hood for 2009 BMW, completed in less than 3 weeks.
Everything they told me was accurate. They give a lifetime warranty and I believe it. These people have integrity.
Update: A 2nd car worked on 2003 Corolla. Result: superb! Very professional. Highly recommend.
I had someone run into the back passenger side of my Mitsubishi Outlander they day after I bought it.I was heartbroken, but Alex's Auto Body did an excellent job repairing it, the car looks almost better than the first day I got it. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a little mishap with my 2018 Genesis G80, and South Philly Towing brought it to Alex's Auto Body. I'm so glad they did. The guys were all awesome to deal with, Lina at the front desk is super nice, and the work was finished way before I thought it was going to be. They did a really nice job and were very professional and friendly. They are my new body shop!
