Used Alex for over 8 years now. Would recommend. Friendly. Never really trusted the main dealers. Bills were always extremely high. Work carried out when needed! invoices leave you feeling that you haven't been ripped off.
Fantastic service and value from Alex and the team, when they serviced my 13-plate E-Class a couple of months ago. Proper official Merc service without the fuss. Not only that but at the time of service Alex discovered a major issue with the subframe, which meant the car was unsafe to drive. Rather than try and rip me off and generate more business, he advised me to take it directly to Mercedes, who he was certain, would replace this as a goodwill gesture. Long story short, it's all sorted and Alex has saved me roughly £2500. Honest garage and great service, I only wish I'd known about this place sooner!

After reading positive reviews about Alex, I decided to take my C320 cdi to him. I am in Peterborough , so was a bit of a trek. But so glad I did. I had a turbo solenoid fault on my car. Every where i took it locally were saying that i need a new turbo. ie would have cost me over a grand easy. Talked to Alex he knew right away what the issue was and said its a common fault on these cars and that you dont need to replace the whole turbo with the solenoid. He sent the solenoid for repairs and kept me updated via email. I collected the car a few days later. The car is back to its former glory...Thank you Alex for the work you have done . Will bring it down when its due its service..Glad to have found someone I can trust finally!!
Took my car three different places before taking it to Alex crow. None of them could find the fault. Within half a day Alex crow had my car running perfectly and ready to pick up. Genuine honest garage with professional and polite staff. Will not take my mercs anywhere else from now on!

I visited Alex Crow today after being recommended by a friend as I wanted to get the gearbox serviced on my S212 E class.
Alex took the time to explain to me what would be done and was very helpful, his price was also very fair indeed.
I thought my air con needed regassing and most places would have just done it and charged me however Alex plugged his machine in and told me it was working perfectly and regassing the system would just be a waste of money
Shows how honest they are.
They are a short walk into Stowmarket where I found a coffee shop and relaxed until my car was ready.
On the drive home the car feels greatly improved, the gearbox now shifts seamlessly whereas before it would feel notch and hold onto certain gears.
Won’t use anyone else for my pride and joy now and will be sure to recommend him and his staff to friends and family.
