Prescriptions never ready after being submitted 5 days ago. Staff getting a lot of upset customers as pharmacist goes on lunch and they can't issue prescription. Suggestion maybe put a notice put up to advise customers so staff don't get grief.
Used it for a number of years and it used to be good, not now though. Prescriptions take days to process. You go to pick up next day and its rarely ready. Go back, still not ready. Staff seem disengaged. Trying an alternative
I always find the are very helpful and polite and yes you have to wait sometimes for your prescription but remember they have a great amount to get ready so if it going to take awhile I just pop into shields to pass the time away these people work very hard to get items ready so be polite and respectful it cost nothing
Decent pharmacy. Neither good or bad. Waiting for prescriptions is a tad bit longer than other places but not too bad. Not much stock in the shop itself but has the essentials. Edit: I have gone down another star due to the fact that the waiting time in here is terrible. I mainly pop in here for my Nana and they ALWAYS mess everything up. The odd time my nominated pharmacy has been out of stock so I've come here to wait 400 years for my prescription...then when they get it the "address is different to what I said" so they have to go back and do it all again....nowhere else does that. Will probably close like the others soon - they're getting rid of their stock lately.
All old staff gone except Victoria ( she’s the one dispenser) hence sloooow service reduced hours, many complaints in the inevitable queue. I emailed customer service but no response, I’ve changed my pharmacy
5* for sure! Friendly polite, and medication is there when it should be. It's like a breath of fresh air, compared to boots around the corner who are moody, un friendly full of attitude and medication goes walkabout.
I'm so glad I changed chemist's
Day 1: Prescription item not in stock, "Come in tomorrow after 2pm and it will be ready."
Day 2: Unable to make it, call to ask about possibility of delivery, "No problem, they'll be there tomorrow between 8am and 3pm!"
Day 3: *Tick-tock* 3pm comes and goes, call to check what might have happened, "Ah, we didn't have your item - we'll send them out tomorrow."
"So how come you told me to come in on Day 2 and they'd be ready after 2pm?"
"Ah, something something warehouse etc."
(No call cos didn't have number, just had the name and address, right?)
Day 4: Unable to make it and not at home for required 7-hour time-slot, so must pick up pills on Day 5. Next time, custom will be taken elsewhere if I want these life-sustaining pills in less than a week.
Meanwhile, order groceries from supermarket, arrive within 1-hour timeframe as stated, some 16 hours after ordering. Paid for, yes, but the empty promises are what can quite literally kill you - more so from lack of medication than a carton of milk mind.
Used to think this was a good pharmacy but the last two times I’ve been they’ve either not had the medication I needed or there has been a mix up with my prescription. The communication between the pharmacy and surgery is not good.
I hope there is an improvement soon.
