Amazing! I love this place the service is always great & the food is also just as good if not better! Take this catfish plate for example. It was absolutely delicious
I ate an early dinner at your place on 05/25/24. Before I could sit down I had to wipe out the seat of the chair with some napkins. The food was excellent, especially the steaks, but I could not abide the flies!!! I covered my food and drink as much as possible to keep the flies from lighting on my food. At one point I looked to my left and there were 4 flies on the empty table next to me!!! Flies are a nuisance and they are nasty!!! I don't want them on my food! For the amount of money I spent on this meal for 2 I should not have had to be subjected to so many flies!!! I have NEVER written a review like, and, if it wasn't for the flies, I would have given your restaurant 5 stars across the board.
We ordered takeout on a night that was rather hectic, due to a card reader issue, so our experience might otherwise have been different. I believe service was slow as a result.
We ordered Catfish and a burger. The Bacon Cheeseburger was very good; a good size and very tasty, with steak fries cooked properly. The Catfish, while very good with just the right amount of breading, was greasy (as were the onion strings, even though we ordered onion RINGS). Both items would have been much better, had they been drained properly from the deep fryer. The potato salad was good.
All in all, it wasn't a bad experience but we're looking forward to a better one next time.
First time here.
The food was great, we loved the atmosphere and interior of restaurant. Will have to come back for the steaks .
Out in the country riding motorcycle and asked someone where I should eat that wasn’t a chain restaurant. Glad I stopped here.
You know it’s good when parking lot is full on a Friday at 1pm.
I had an unbelievably good cheeseburger, side item , and drink for $10. Tax included!! Felt like I had stepped back into 1990’s.
It was a huge burger with real meat prepared there.
I loved the atmosphere. Seemed like everyone there all knew each other. There were no tables available, so I sat with a retired couple from Blountsville.
This place was the highlight of my day. You have got to stop and try this place even if you have to take a ride out into the country;
What a great little BBQ joint! Very clean, rustic interior. Genuinely friendly staff. My wife and I tried two entrees and five sides and were impressed by every one. The potato salad and green beans were especially good. The onion rings were tasty. The BBQ pork had a great smoke flavor. Highly recommend you give them a try.
Yall need to stop in this place the best barbeque, loaded potato and a very large salad. I was so full didn't think I would make it to the car. Service was excellent believe me they take good care of you. Eating area was so clean. Just being there made feel at home. My favorite place to go. Make the trip here you want be disappointed.
Placed a phone order. Usually we have no issues with the food, however I am not sure what we received tonight. Basket of fries had to be recooked- very limp, just gross. And the basket of Onion rings-we opened the box and thought it was fried chicken livers. It's a shame that in this very small town the best place in town is serving food like this.
