Amazing food. This place is in a building behind the mosque and is part of the Islamic Centre. Owner didn't speak much English and they only had meat and bread but everything worked out and they were very nice. Meat was juicy and cooked perfectly over coal. Also part of the Islamic Centre was a small basketball court and outdoor seating facing the small lake.
Great place to eat something different. Excellent food.
My favorite was the pilaf. It was delicious, the meat had a unique seasoning , soft and tender. The rice had a nice moist & filling . The staff was friendly and nice.

This is not a professional establishment by any means nor is it a restaurant. There is a daily menu with two or three items. During my visit only Pulov was available. I ordered a serving to take out to try it out. I've had many pulovs over time and there is nothing special about this one. If anything it's overpriced. For $18 I was given a 7" aluminum container stuffed with rice and topped with shredded beef. From reading others' comments, it should include a salad which I was never given even though I asked the person helping me if the meal includes anything else.

We were traveling passing by al-Bukhara halal food after hours we stopped by because we only eat halal food. The administration were extremely kind and generous. They asked one of the cook to re open and prepare dinner for me and my wife. The food was delicious and out standing. Thank you so much.
