I had the roast beef sub. It was pretty good. Typical college student hang out. Not s long wait to order or get food. They boasted serving only halal food.
Haven't been here in a while, but really enjoyed the crispy chicken wrap. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
I wake up every morning with a smile on my face knowing that I have the privilege of eating another falafel wrap from Albasha. This quick eats restaurant is not only a staple of the Wayne state university campus, but also a historical landmark in culinary excellence. Im grateful to know this restaurant exists and serves some pretty delicious food at affordable prices. Truly a blessing!
We had some friends who had an orientation at wayne. We sat by albasha for a while and when the owner came and saw us. He was very nice. He handed us cold water and invited us to sit inside since it was 98⁰ degrees outside. Sam was supper friendly and I love the breaded mushrooms. They are very generous with there portions. One of the best placw there can be. 100 times would come back here.
The subs are really well-sized for your dime. Everything tastes great. They got the food a little bit wrong and the drink machine waters everything down, but all in all, I'm definitely going back for that delicious italian sub next time I have the craving.
I love this restaurant so much, but a lot of times I show up when Maps says they should be open and they're closed, and then I have to go to Jimmy Johns. :( I wish Google would figure out and update the hours.
The people at Albasha were great! I ordered the falafel, guy specifically asked if I was vegetarian for cross-contamination purposes, and everyone was very friendly.
Falafel Pita was bigger than I expected for $6.50, and very balanced, and they didn’t skimp on the sauce! Fries were also fresh made and cwispy. Will deffo be back.
If you're looking for a quick bite to eat that won't break the bank this is the place to go.They are always serving up fresh delicious food day after day. I'd go as far as to say it's the best location of been to. Given that it's on a college campus they can sometimes run out of ingredients to make things, but keep in mind it's because they're moving food out of this place all the time.
