Got an invitation from a dear friend and we had baglla bil- beith and Basturma w-eggs, it was good. Very welcoming owner????????????
it's a good restaurant to have Iraqi food we like it because we like to have it and we miss it the service was good
If you like this kind of grub (falafels, shawarma, kebabs, etc) then this place is a MUST hit... I can see how some would argue this place not being worth 4 Stars but if you are looking for a place in this side of Mission Valley then it is..
By the way, if you DO go, eat there... They will greet you with soup, bread and fresh veggies!!!!
I'm also going to leave it on this note... Many people have a sense of not being sure what to expect with the middle eastern culture but let me tell you, this place will show you just how hospitable these individuals can be..
We went there with in-laws. First of all, it is not very spacious. As a second thing, we were served dirty plates and utensils. They changed it when we asked them to do so.
We ordered a combo for 5. It comes with a salad and 2 choice of side dishes. The food was delicious but a but oily. We also got fries, baba ghanoush, and Iraqi salad. The portions are HUGE though.
Overall our experience was OK. Maybe will come again, maybe.
Fresh, authentic Iraqi food! The olive salad was to die for! The Lentil soup was good, but was not served hot. The Beef kabob was another winner! Definitely recommend
I have the Wednesday only “Baja”, it’s really good, and the price is very cheap with so many meats.
I haven't had Middle Eastern food this good in a while! Really authentic spread and delivery of the food in large portions. The prices are unbeatable as well!
I have orderd beef shawarma sandwich, and it wasn't good. The their restroom so filthy.
