Staff are really nice. Especially the lady at thr counter. The pharmacist keeps me up to date on my prescriptions and is really helpful if things are not available, as she orders them and ensures it gets to me. 100 great service
Always lovely coming here as items are reasonably priced. However front staff sometimes come off as un-welcoming due to no eye contact and closed off behaviour.
I live locally and have been to Ashkar Pharmacy many times. The service is excellent and the staff and the pharmacist are always kind and helpful. They were under incredible pressure during the pandemic yet still continued to be kind and helpful.
They don’t accept card payments unless you buy anything for £5. Come on, everything is changed.
I need to buy £2.20 medicine but forced to buy something else so i can pay by card for £5.
Staff is very very old which is ok but they are not up to date.

While I was 2nd in queue the I asked the server could I have a pen and paper so I can write my name down ( standard procedure for in here) as its a small shop and more than 4 people was in there I wanted to keep my distance while staying in the queue. My dog was out side and I would of been happy to wait outside while it was being prepared. Anyway the response I got was wait I'm serving ( eyes rolled and head shaking) while the customer at the till was being served and the server still giving me dirty looks. The owner came out and protected her staff without even giving me a chance
She started to lecture me about safe distancing all while I was the one trying to keep a distance. She didn't seem bothered what made things worse was an older man with a dog outside asked to write his name down before it was his turn but that was acceptable.
I was refused my antidepressants and anti-anxiety pills because I came 15 minutes before closing time and yet when I came in the morning they opened 20 minutes late. This has caused me to miss my dose a few times. If you're not going to care about your patients, maybe you shouldn't operate a pharmacy.
They never have anything in stock, they don’t even have a blood pressure monitor and on more than one occasion I’ve been there they’ve opened at least 20 minutes late.
Great service. Staff always very helpful. Couldn't wish for better Pharmacy.
