Outstanding sushi! Amazing quality ingredients, especially the raw fish and rice. Perfect thickness of rice on rolls (very thin). Pictured is the sushi for 2. Quality you would get in a highly rated restaurant in a big city! Don't let the poor curb appeal from the outside dissuade you.
Beautiful decor and nice atmosphere. Very surprising they don't have a liquor license. People next to us ordered hibachi meals and the servings were huge. We could see the huge flames coming from the hibachi grills from where we were sitting across the restaurant.
Only slightly disappointing was the vegetable tempura. The items were a bit greasy as they likely didn't cook at the right temperature. The quality for the sushi made up for it!
My husband and I have been dying to come here for a long time. We live out in clearfield and don’t always venture out to alroona for dinner. I got off work early and my husband surprised me with let’s go here. We were not disappointed the server was lovely, sushi was fantastic and the hibachi servings were huge!!! I have a shrimp allergy and they took it very seriously I got the tofu hibachi with fried rice the vegetables were fresh and the rice! The tofu was nice and crunchy. I took mine home I’m going to add some tofu I have at home for it for dinner. My husband got the steak it was great
fresh ingredients and great tasting sushi, the folks on staff didn't miss a beat. my partner and i like to get a whole spread of sushi and always end up taking it home when our eyes are bigger than our stomachs (which is every time).

My kids and I have been coming here for over 6 years and every time we get the best food and service. I love the way they interact with the children and make it fun. The amount of food you get for the price is incredible! BEST PLACE IN TOWN!
This place is amazing. I love it so much the reason I only gave four stars is because when you get sushi and it’s very spicy I do not recommend eating it especially for kids.
But is a great atmosphere very clean and I mean very very clean. Sometimes they have chopsticks and sometimes they don’t but this place is amazing I five out of 5:10 out of 10. Recommend
We have been coming here for at least 5 years and it is most of the time good. The waitress and waiters are always so nice. The sushi is most of the time very good. The hibachi is good. The bento boxes are okay. We did not like the pad Thai. It was kind of flavorless and they did not seem to care that we said that we didn’t like it. We always love the Philadelphia roll and the California roll. We also like the eel cucumber. The white tuna is a little less consistent, but when it is good, it is good.
Meh, food is honestly not that great. The vegetables are like steamed frozen veggies with a little sauce. The steak is extremely rare (just barely seared on the outside). The fried rice is good, no complaints there. And finally the clear miso soup is good but quite salty.
Honestly it’s a very average experience for those ordering takeout.
If I go to their teppenyaki area next time I will amend my review based on the experience.
The food was amazing but after our server placed the styrofoam containers on the hot plate. We said it was still hot to then which she scoffed, gave dirty looks and talked about us to other coworkers right infront of us. I have never been treated so poorly by a server. Will not be returning.
