We had our 3 year old sons hair faded. It was done by Soy/ Soi not sure how to spell it. He did amazing though. Was very sweet and talked with my son throughout the cut. We did a walk in and only waited about 15 minutes. This will be our barber shop here on out. Can't wait to get a bead line up and cut for my husband. Hands down the best barber in Anchorage. Compared to 6 other barber shops we've been too.
I come here many times. Usually, I get a decent haircut. Today not so. Barber did not do what I asked . I wanted cut very short, not like something out of the 20s.
Never had a bad vibe or cut in this place. All the barbers have mad skill. One even did french braids in my daughter’s hair. This place is my go to shop. Genisis on debarr is a close second, but Fadz always does right. One downfall…no credit cards….cash, or a $4 ATM charge.
Jeremy was my barber, gave me a cut, trim and help d line my beard, very knowledgeable and did extremely clean work. I'll be back for sure!
Sick fade! Just had a cut done by Andrew and he was spectacular! He asked questions and he gave me what I wanted. 10/10 would recommend.
I walk in for the first time, no appointment. 4 guys in there cutting hair. Not a look, not a nod, not a, "Hey welcome." Nothing. It was like I didn't even exist. I sat there for 10 minutes to see if anyone would get around to talking to me. Nope. Two guys get done with their haircuts and walk right past me, totally ghosting me. I left. That's terrible customer service right there. The vibe was super low. It was clear.
Not one person greeted me. 25 minutes after being there, someone finally asked me if I’m checking in 10 minutes AFTER my appointment. No front counter. No professionalism whatsoever. Walked out of there 15 minutes after my appointment. One barber clearly not doing anything the whole time I was there, one barber slowly cleaning up his station.
Been going to Maverick for about 9 months now, great fades, consults with you and does a really good job with shape both on my fade and beard, and accommodating my cowlicks. Takes his time and keeps tweaking til it’s perfect. I’ll keep going back to him for sure.
