I urgently needed the timing belt and water pump replacing on my Freelander as I had a long motorway trip to Hampshire for Christmas. I took my car to Andy on the Wednesday and he had completed the repair by Thursday evening. Brilliant service for time of year. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy. Reasonable charges. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.
Since finding AJ's Garage via reviews on Google when we moved to Shropshire, I've never been disappointed with the service.
He always advises on what needs doing, provides options and costs up front, and doesn't disappoint with the quality of workmanship.
I won't go anywhere else because I know he'll do a first class job.

I had trouble with my Skoda's clutch pedal not returning when fully depressed. To cut a very long story short i ended up needing a new release bearing and while the gearbox was off i had a new clutch as well. Andy also noticed my handbrake was very high, which it was, so he stripped my rear brakes, cleaned everything up and adjustable the handbrake. While the brakes were off he also noticed my one wheel bearing was grinding, so i told him to replace both sides while everything was apart. Andy updated me at every stage of the job, informing of what he found, not pressuring me into getting anything done and definitely not going ahead and doing the work then telling you later when you go to pay. This is the first time I've used AJ's garage and will definitely be using him again in the future. Very polite and friendly man who knows his stuff.
Great quality of work and very professional. Was able to sort my car within a day. Overall did a superb job on our family car. Will be going back for future repairs.
I took my car here for MOT couldn't of asked for better service, Andy was fantastic, can't recommend highly enough, will definitely be my regular go to garage in future
