The staff of this company comes from the DMV, They are rude, no one knows anything, the gate is alone, there are 2 locations in the same company but you have to guess which of the 2 is correct, and if you ask no one pays attention !!..
THEY ARE SHAMEFUL!
This company lies about getting you home and tries to force OTR drivers to work local loads to get you home 3 days late for promised hometime and will write you up for taking promised hometime. They also send you in the caves in KC, which was another lie during interview. They expect you to answer your phone and be willing to drive during your 10 hour sleeper break illegally. They will beg you to come back to work a day or 2 early from hometime and not make it up to you. Communication is extremely poor. No one in the office is aware of the driver sending texts regarding dispatches. They require you to use your personal cellphone to allow brokers to track you and drains the phone quicker than it can charge and you are not paid for your phone usage. This is a company that employs the head dispatcher with less than 1.5 years experience to regulate professional drivers with 16 years experience. Such dispatcher has personal issues with grandkids being born and should not be in charge of major decisions without a 100% knowledge of what's going on for a company and needs better attention to her job. Fire Lynette!!!!
When I called them to inform them of one of their drivers acting up in the fuel island I was pleasantly surprised at how professional they handled my report of one of their drivers behaving badly
I've been here over a year now and I must admit, it's a good company to drive for...they keep me rolling, take care of their equipment and the money is always in the bank every Friday.

A wonderful place to work! Great dispatchers, they are always on top of their maintenance, and each and every one of them make sure that the driver is taken care of in every aspect of his journey whether there be breakdowns, delays or miscommunications.
Good people once I got in the door they was fast with the delivery. My advice would be to call them to make sure you're load is ready. But not a bad place
I've been a driver with ACD&W for several months now. I attended ACD&W's driving school in August of '22. My brother attended a different local school. We've talked, and I believe that Air Capitol provides not just an objectively good experience but for comparison's sake, the best CDL school opportunity in the area.
Instructor Tim Houser is very good -- a natural teacher, striking a balance between an easy-going friendliness and serious professionalism. He genuinely cares about the well-being and success of his students, and does an excellent job preparing them for both the CDL exam and life as a driver.
If you're considering CDL school, and if the financial arrangement offered by Air Capitol fits your needs, I can recommend it with confidence.
Work for the company is good, too. I hold a high opinion of Jay Danler, the operations manager, the dispatch team, the human resources team, and the rest of the staff that keep the wheels turning. Air Capitol treats their workers very well. I don't think any comparable company would be better to work for. If you're looking for OTR or regional driving work, I would highly recommend checking into this company.
I work for a business that contracts this company for delivery. 3 times in the past two weeks our trucks - only those contracted through this company - have failed to arrive when scheduled and have not made the effort to contact us until after their scheduled arrival, leading to frustrated customers and lost business. I do NOT recommend contracting this company for delivery for any business.
