Went to Anejo for drinks and tacos. We were served a large portion of free chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and tasted fresh. The salsa not too spicy, which I liked. They only had sidewalk seating available. The fish tacos were good. The margaritas were very tasty and had the right amount of tequila. You can buy a shooter in the side. This place tends to get very busy so you have to arrive early if you want inside seating.
First time here, if you’re familiar with Lolita in Boston this is VERY similar except more affordable and better/bigger drinks. Started off with complimentary chips & salsa, really good, tasty homemade salsa. Shared a plate of nachos—also VERY good. But my favorite were the three different tacos (“tres tacos”)—pork, steak, chicken—all had unique touches to them, simply fantastic.
But the best part: the drinks. Especially margaritas!! Large, well-made, STRONG, and reasonably at $12.50. Yum.
What a restaurant! Been there a few times and never disappointed.

If you’re not a picky person everything in the menu is pretty good.
If you’re planning to have dinner, make sure you have a reservation in advance, they’re always very busy.

Service is always terrific. Tara waited on us on our last visit & she could not have been sweeter. Ambiance is always upbeat & friendly. Outdoor seating during good weather. Wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes, often with a gourmet flair. Food is well prepared & delicious for the most part. Warm fresh chips & amazing salsa served as soon as you are seated. Great margaritas. Shrimp salad, black bean soup, enchiladas & tacos are winners. If we’ve ever had a problem the management is lightening fast to fix it.
They also opened a new taqueria “Blanco” further down Main Street / 28 to grab a bite without the wait.
It was busy! But no complaints, the staff was great running around making sure you had what you needed. Got the spicy margarita, which was very good!! The salsa that comes with chips might be the best I’ve had at a restaurant. It had some spicy touch to it and very good. Got the pulled beef in my enchilada and it was outstanding! Definitely stop in
We ate al fresco today there for lunch. The steak and mahi mahi tacos were delicious and cooked perfectly and the margarita was likewise yummy. the waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return there for dinner when on the Cape again! Highly recommend!

Mango Caliente Margaritas are superb!
You have to try the Chorizo Mussels... so different from all the garlic white wine Mussels. So much flavor!
(And if there's enough broth left over take it home and put it over pasta the next day... Sooo good!)

The ambience was really amazing. I loved the table by the side of Main Street with flowers and fire decor. I ordered the vegetarian Roja enchiladas (cheese, onions & veggies) and Strawberry Tres Leches cake. The food was very tasty. I loved my dinner experience. Thank you!
