BAD. REALLY BAD. Second time I’ve eaten here. Last time I will eat here. Way over cooked fish from the deep fryer. Inedible - picture. Way over grilled outside of burrito to the point of black carbonized ash. They made sure to roll the really burnt part to the inside. Pictures. Quesadilla is a grease bomb. Pictures. Notice the drippings in the lid. Also inedible. I expected a nice toasty flat quesadilla, not crumpled up oil soaked tortilla goo.
First time (couple months back) they completely screwed up the order. This time they forgot the guacamole side and cooked the food poorly. Like I said, never again.
Open late night until midnight which is convenient for road trips up/down 5 highway coast. Had an amazing al pastor burrito and Cali burrito. No drive thru window, just walk in to take out and dining in.
Spouse and I ordered a couple of their breakfast burritos. They were made wonderfully: toasted tortilla, fresh eggs, decent flavorful bacon, [unfortunately for me] French fries [I'd rather have a home fry of twice-cooked potatoes heavily seasoned]. They were unfortunately somewhat small and run $10 where usually I can get a really good decent sized breakfast burrito, with my preferred home fries, for $6. Overall these were OK. The self-serve fountain drink dispenser needed a tune-up (off flavored sodas). The cook/counter sales person was minimal in their communication. The space is prototypic fast food with a few hard laminate bench booths on one side of the building. Nobody was sitting down, just standing and waiting for their orders. My spouse noticed the floor was clean but greasy--her sneakers kind of oozed along the floor while standing. Just kind of yucky and explains perhaps why nobody was sitting. Overall just 'meh.'
Awesome food and good service. The place was clean and fairly cheap for the amount and quality. About $7 for a burrito (see pic attached; with an iPhone for scale). I had a California burrito after a surf session and it hit the spot; although, almost anything tastes amazing after getting barreled for 2 hours.
They only take cash btw, so make sure you have it.
DELICIOUS. I came from a soccer game and asked for an egg burrito. It’s not on the menu but they didn’t hesitate at all. They just asked what I wanted in it and gave it to me in like 5 minuets. It’s very yummy. The people were very nice. I recommend for a quick bite.
I came because previous reviews said the asada fries are good and I love me some asada fries.... The cashier was very nice..... But... The fries sucked!!!! Very disappointed.... Very dry and hard. .. had to run to the store to get queso to mask the dryness.... I know next time to try something else.
Best authentic crunchy taco I have had since being in San Clemente & Dana Point. I've lived here for 10 years.
What I like, "AT A HIGH RATE", is to drive here several times and the lights have been out as if they're shut down and there's no note on the door, there's no message on the answering machine that says there's an issue going on, and nothing on the website to say if there's issues of some sort happening here.....
