I was very impressed with the work that was done.
The stylists, Dominic and Durcas, are very friendly and professional. They took the time to listen to my daughter's preferences to make sure that she was comfortable with the box braids. She also offered some great suggestions, and my daughter was thrilled with the final result.
The braids were done very neatly, and they were very secure. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the salon. It was very well-maintained, and it was clear that the staff took pride in their work.
Overall, I was very happy with the service I received at Adeyemi African Hair Braiding. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to get their hair braided.

I usually don’t write reviews but this one is well deserved, I’m completely obsessed with my knotless braids, and I’ve been getting compliments all day. My stylist was very professional & made sure I got the style I wanted.
she was also super gentle with the natural and made sure it was well prepped before getting my braids. 10 out of 10

The braiders are very good. Some slower than others. I’m pleased with how my hair comes out every time. It’s very easy to make an appointment and text a photo of the style I want. Parking around the shop is a little challenging on a busy street, 2 hour parking.
My first visit I called sent a photo and was told a price of $150 for fake locs. This included the hair. I told her my hair was salt and pepper and I wanted the locs to match my hair. Then she said I had to go and get the hair and it would be $150 because I am providing the hair. However when it was done I was charged $200 she shampooed my hair but didn’t deep condition it so this brought the price up $175 plus a $10 cap and I tipped $20. Before leaving she said my next visit she would have my color hair and the price would be included.
4 weeks later, I called to schedule an appointment. She told me to come in that day because she had time. I asked if she had my color hair which was salt and pepper and she said yes. I said are you sure and she said yes 1B. I said no salt and pepper black and white and again she said yes it would be fine. I arrived only to discover the hair was not salt and pepper it was black. I was really upset. So she had to scramble to figure out what to do. I offered to go and get the hair and she said no she would have someone to go and get it. I waited an additional 45mins. Finally her other braider got the hair. She suggested twist and not box braids I said sure. Thinking it would be $200 for twist right as she was about to start she then decided to tell me it’s going to be another $50 because twisting is very hard on the fingers. Now I am really pissed because the his was not communicated to me when she made the suggestion. So once again I said fine. I had to do something because I was going back to work the next day. Then about 25% into doing my twist she tells me it’s going to be an additional cost for the hair. I was like are you kidding me. I refused to pay additional cost because I was told she had the hair. I ended up paying $15 for some of the hair when I should have paid nothing. Then half way through she asked me if I was still mad at her and I said yes. I feel I was miss lead and miss informed and she was wrong for not having as stated which should have been included in the price and very poor communication. She assured me at my next visit it will be different.
I was really excited about going to this place but the lack of professionalism has me at a loss. I understand it’s a business but how am I being charged for additional hair when the initial price was included if my hair was black? I feel I was taken advantage of and I am very disappointed with my experience. Both times. I will not be going back or referring clients to this place.
It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to be honest and speak only the facts. I gave a second chance because everyone was very nice plus the location is close. They should want to do better with their clients moving forward.

I went to get my hair done on Friday afternoon when I came in Cecilia wash my hair and did my braids I have a bald spots in my hair she know how to cover the bald spots because I be wearing wig in my hair my hair can’t really breathe through to hair loss but now look at my beautiful hairstyle I’m loving it. I only wanted two braids and it was a terrible experience the braids was taken down and done over and the braids was still unprofessional because the braids was way to small, loose and one was noticeable bigger than the other. The girl didn’t know what she was doing my part wasn’t straight it seem like she just started braiding. Then when I said something she starts huffing and puffing wen she was Totally wrong. I would never go there again or recommend this place to any one. Terrible braids it looked like I had small ball spot on the sides of my head braids was not professional. They have kids playing in ppl heads when we are spending real money for fake professionals.
