I’ve had several jobs done here such as brakes, A/C service, and other simple maintenance. I’m always treated with respect and kindness and they seem to be very honest. I’m always pleased with their service and they’re one of the few I trust with my car. Keep up the great work. I’m grateful.
Very cheap but one of the owners is rude and offensive.
I got two front wheel bearings replaced on a Cadillac truck and they only charged me $160! They recommend that you bring your own parts because it will be cheaper that way. They originally quoted me higher because they thought it required more labor time than it actually needed. They called me about an hour and a half after I dropped it off and told me it was ready. I also asked them to do an alignment and instead of taking my money they suggested i get new tires first so that I don't waste my money. The gentleman there are really professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. And if they can't do the job they will straight up tell you that they cant do it.
I see some comments here about the mechanics at this establishment being very rude. They aren't rude per say lol they just are straight to the point and don't smile much. But I didn't go there to be entertained, I came to get my car serviced so I can be about my way. I've had the most pleasant people charge me hundreds of dollars more than they did so I don't mind.
Extremely competent technicians. Their prices are extremely competitive.
Will be filing a law suit they are not for there customers. Went here just to get an oil change and a tire replacement and now my car is not the same. Received service on Saturday by Sunday my car was not the same . They are very greedy and are not good people to take your vehicle to unless you want your car to have more problems after they service it. Please be careful they preyed on me as a pregnant female that doesn't know much able cars. Bad for business.
These people know what they're doing, and if they don't, they'll let you know. They're the most honest mechanics that I know.
I today I took my car to Adelphi Auto services, I knew something was wrong with it because of the way it was driving. I though it was wheel bearing. I asked them to test drive, the mechanic came back after 5 minutes he said nothing was wrong with the Car. I couldn't believe it. I was actually embarrassed for him because I said to myself if a mechanic cannot feel the way the car was driving and tell there was a problem, I feel for anyone who takes their car to that shop. I left there took the car to a shop in Rockville MD. They test drove it. Came back said it was the drive Shaft. The customer service was superb, beyond my expectations. They said I should have had an appointment but they will take me in. 2 hours later I was driving smooth again. As for Adelphi Auto services. I wish you the best But it will catch up with you. Mr. Adelphi if your mechanics don't know what they're doing they will destroy your Business and it will be yourself to blame.
Beware! In December 2021 I took a car for Maryland inspection at Adelphi Auto Service in Adelphi, Maryland. They failed the car for the left front axle shaft and the left rear shock. I purchased the part from Car Quest and took the car and the parts back to Adelphi Auto for them to replace them and reinspect the vehicle. Adelphi charged me to replace the parts and passed the car for inspection. The problem is that Adelphi didn't actually replace the axle or the shock. In January, I took the car to a mechanic to do an oil change. The mechanic informed me that I needed to replace the left front axle shaft because it was leaking. He showed me the part and also allowed me to take a video of it. I was shocked because I had just paid for Adelphi to replace the very same part. I went back to Adelphi and spoke to the manager and the technician, James. I was told that they would inspect the car again for a fee and that I couldn't be in the garage while they inspect it. I said they should inspect it for free because it was their work and I brought the car back to them within the warranty period stated on the repair order. I left when they refused to do the inspection without me paying. The axle shaft was $90, plus I paid Adelphi $75 to replace it. Now I will have to pay a different mechanic to replace it because it is leaking. Now, it should be noted that I was told by James that I had no power and he attempted keep the receipt that I let him read. In fact, I had to quickly snatch the re riot from his hand as he tried to run away with it. I now in the process of exploring a legal remedy.
