I was in the mood for bacon so I stopped into this little cafe which serves an array of coffees, teas, breakfast and lunch sandwiches all day along w/ ice cream, maybe 8 flavors. I ordered the spinach and feta croissant for my child, a BLT for me and iced green tea. I was slightly bummed when I cut open the croissant for my little, it was quite hollow for $4.50, expected more filling. Nice flavor though. My BLT was fine, perfect balance of mayo, tomato, lettuce, 2 pieces of bacon) wish there was more on it. The iced green tea was lacking flavor and pale in color. For $19 plus tip for the good service, not worth running back. Maybe the coffee drinks are better?
The staff is super welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great place to stop on the way to the beach. I ordered the California breakfast sandwich with bacon, on a jalapeno bagel, with a side hash brown. The bagel was delicious, I would probably just get that with cream cheese next time. The sandwich was huge and I couldn't finish it. I was very disappointed that the avocado listed on the menu was actually store bought guac. And I prefer my bacon crispy, but I just know to ask for it that way next time! I love the idea of the hash brown triangle, but it tasted like it was freezer burned and needed a touch of salt. Cold brew was ok.
I adore this place. Most delicious iced latte I’ve found in St. Pete and I love the bagel sandwiches. They have vegan cream cheese and decaf espresso which I really appreciate. The staff is always friendly too.
Only been going a few months but everything is always excellent. My mocha latte and the croissant turkey sandwich, delicious . Makes my mouth watery now. See ya soon
I found this place well staying at Fort DeSoto cuz I'm a coffee fanatic and it was closer then Starbucks and I'm glad I did because they're way better than Starbucks plus I'd rather support a small business! Great frappes, the best fruit smoothie I've ever had and great food ! They are a little expensive but what isn't these days. I definitely recommend this place. They also have another location in Largo so stop by and try them! PS I have to add they have great straws they are biodegradable and not the horrible paper straws ????
My husband found this place close to our condo and he was talking highly of it. We own a condo nearby and come to St. Pete’s when we can. We went in today and he put our order which is just chocolate milkshake and ask for vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. The girl who took our order in said she was tired and had to tell him just do chocolate ice cream shake but my husband wants a vanilla ice cream instead.
As we wait for our order the girl who took our order started talking about him to her colleague not knowing we are in the store. That girl needs to respect customers specially elderly customers and wait for them to leave before she opens her mouth. Where are your manners? You should be ashamed of yourself. Not only that they forgot my ice cream order and when the other girl making my ice cream the waffle cone broke and didn’t even bother to replace it.
I don’t normally do reviews but I had to talk to the manager for this as we felt disrespected. We don’t need free food. We can afford to pay. We just want your employees to do a better customer service and have some respect.
Quaint place just off the bridge exiting from Fort Desoto. I've been in this plaza many times and there are a handful of places to eat. This spot is arguably the best. Nice selection of ice cream, coffees and sandwiches. Service can be slow during peek hours but this spot isn't usually super busy. If you are near it's a grate little spot for a bite! Enjoy!
Extremely quaint local coffee and ice cream shop. Very friendly servers, great coffee selection, and some terrific looking baked goods.
My iced coffee was perfectly made and the barista offered a few helpful suggestions to give it some extra zing. (She was not wrong-- it was a great cup of cold joe.)
Prices are reasonable and there's both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Forget trying to find a Starbucks-- just stop in here and enjoy local coffee from a local establishment.
