Add me to those who have expressed their praises for Adams Auto Service, thanks to (owner-operator?) Rick. My car had developed a loud noise with dragging sensation occurring on all hard right turns. Rick test drove the car, and instantly surmised what was wrong: An issue concerning the brake caliper. (He brought the part to me and explained what was wrong, pointing out the tell-tale signs. I appreciated his thoroughness in acquainting me with the problem). He quickly attended the problem and test drove the car again to confirm that it was properly fixed. It was! In the meantime, he squeezed me in for an oil change that I requested on the spot. He charged a reasonable amount, which I was happy to pay. I plan to have my car serviced in the future right here. Thank you so much for your fine skills, professionalism and reasonable charges, Rick!!! :-)
Rick is an honest guy who does great work, quickly, at reasonable prices. We have trusted him with our vehicle repairs since 2000 and my in-laws have been taking their cars to him for even longer. When we had overheating issues with a minivan the dealer recommended an entire system replacement for many hundreds of dollars. We took it to Adams and Rick came up with a much, MUCH less expensive solution which fixed the problem and saved us of a lot of time and money. Why you would go to the dealer for their overpriced service is beyond me.

Made appointment for radiator for our FX
He was perfect ! Told me he get it ordered and later called to say it’s ready. I been to some irritating car repair places and this was my first time using him and I plan to return when needed.

I had taken my vehicle to several places & no one could figure out what was going on with my vehicle. They were recommending replacing all sorts of things & spending hundreds of dollars just hoping it would fix the problem. Mr. Adams seemed much more knowledgeable when diagnosing my problem. He correctly found that it was the water pump but then told me that it was not even necessary to fix right away. This was such a reprieve to the original place Rogers auto that told me I had to replace the radiator & my whole coolant system or my vehicle would blow up. Thanks for your honesty & professionalism Mr. Adams. It is a rarity in this industry.
I will not be back, came to get my car checked out. They have terrible customer service skills, and organization. I simply came to get 4 things checked, first of all I did not recieve a call informing me that they had not even touched my car after I had scheduled two weeks ahead. Being left without my vehicle the next day having to work that morning, then when he did check it out, he slipped in random costs of having to check this and that out without informing me until I had to call just to figure out why they had kept my car over night. When I had came to pick my car up, I was then told I owed money that I hadn't agreed to pay in the first place for "checking the car" for this and that. Technician was then rude when I had asked why the outrageous expense for a check up. I will definitely not be returning! Rude, disrespectful, and over priced. Save your time and money and go to a REAL mechanic.
