Make a reservation, you will not be disappointed! Although they do their best to accommodate people, make a reservation because they get busy. And, they are busy for a good reason, the food and service are impeccable, and the belly dancer was a nice added touch. The ambiance transports you to Greece and Lebanon, two countries with amazing cuisines. We were a large party and not one person with disappointed with their order. We ordered a mix of Lebanese and Greek dishes. The food was authentic and freshly made. The service was superb, despite how busy the restaurant was on a Friday night. Indoor and outdoor seating. Manager was on site and checking in with customers. This is now my #1 any time I visit Tampa. If you're staying downtown, you can hop on the tram and the stop is a few minutes walk from the restaurant.
The food is good very typical Greek food. The flavors are very similar to a normal Greek cuisine.

Had an excellent experience, the service was spot on. From the host to our server Crystal everything was incredibly. Crystal went on and made sure we had an amazing experience. One of the best servers so far I’ve experienced. The staff was incredible. The stuffed mushrooms were to die for. Our hookah was taken care off. Overall 10/10
Had dinner at Acropolis in Ybor City with a work colleague when visiting Tampa on business. The restaurant had a nice vibe both inside and out. We dined at an outside table. The menu has some nice dishes and the Baba Ghanouj (eggplant dip with pita) that I had to start was excellent. My friend had the Octopus and he said that was good also. For mains we both had the Lamb Lollipops over Greek Potatoes and this was a bit disappointing. It was 4 grilled lamb cutlets that were not that weighty and in fact all of mine were very fatty. For a signature dish at $40 it could have been better.
The service was rather inattentive and we waited ages for our bill receipt. It was Valentines Day and thus very busy though so maybe that had something to do with it. All in all a mixed experience and I am not sure I would visit again, and if I did I would not opt for the lamb lollipops again.
This place is fantastic! We had two appetizers, entrees & drinks & everything was delicious. Our server, Amer, is such a pleasant, positive human & an excellent, attentive server. Wish we lived closer so we could come back soon!
This was my first time visiting and it was a lovely visit. The food was delicious and fresh. To top it off the staff were friendly and inviting! I would definitely recommend coming here!
we've been to Acrópolis for a several times but we didn't have the best experience with the food. We could only say that the appetizer was delicious as the main dishes weren't the greatest. Perhaps arriving an hour before restaurant close resulted in us receiving the Acrópolis seafood dish with little to no seafood and leftover rice. It felt like we were served what was left.
I am very grateful that we ate at this restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We had a dog with us and were looking to eat somewhere that would allow us to eat outside with our dog. They said yes right away and even gave us a bowl of cold iced water for the dog. They have outside seating. That impressed us. We would recommend this place for the service, attention, friendly staff, accommodations, and the delicious food. Thank you so much.
