This an absolute gem with the small traditional town ambience. People in Tonica are friendly and eager to help outsiders. Music was not overwhelming like most bars in Chicago. Collection of beer is well thought out and so are the whiskey brands. Outdoor seating is nice and comfortable. Kitchen closed at 8 on Thursday and had to drive 5 miles. Entire town is beautiful. I guess the people in this town are a role model.

Never had a bad meal, and all the staff are pleasant and polite.
I love how it's spread out, the food there is amazing, the lobster bisque is the best ever.
Went for lunch on Friday. Had grouper dinner, onion rings, crab rangoon flat bread and drinks. All very good. Great bar food menu with a twist on daily specials. Friendly service. Took home the lobster bisque, best in the Midwest. Will return for sure.
One of my new favorite places! I ordered the phillysteak sandwich and the taste and texture of the velvety cheese sauce was amazing. Burgers were huge and the variety of the menu was surprising. Loved the food and the service! Try it! You'll like it!! ????
Stopped in last night for a date night with my husband and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, and they had a really great band playing
Amazing menu, very difficult to decide. Will go again. Very hot day, AC couldn't keep up but not too bad.
