Lovely tea house. Nicely decorated, nice and clean and lovely friendly staff.
We had two cheese and ham toasties that were made from uncut loaf, millionaire muffin and chocolate orange cheese cake. Also had the hot chocolate. All of which was well worth the price as tasted great.
Beautiful homemade food, gorgeous cakes and all at a great price! This is what all cafés should aim to be. Fantastic service. No soggy base on the quiche only crisp pastry and very substantial. Pasty was nice, being from Cornwall it wasn’t quite a ‘proper’ pasty but was decent. Looking forward to my fresh cream scone now.
Got to say we had a lovely afternoon tea at Ace Bakes. The food was very fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Some of the food on offer behind the counter made me drool. Thoroughly recommend this lovely bakery tea stop with its wheelchair friendly access.
Very nice and cozy place, friendly staff who manage to stay calm and attentive, even when it gets busy. Great stuff to eat here! Very good coffee also.

Lovely little tea room. Great selection of cakes. Had the quiche which was really nice and had a bacon cob previously. Food is always good every time
Visited 3 times during this long weekend obviously delighted with everything food drinks hospitality & the like
I don't know how people get past the cakes on display amazing & you have to try don't you.we saw people having high tea sandwiches cakes etc looked amazing but think you have to book in advance which we will attempt to do next visit.
Just to top it off the best coffee I've ever tasted.

Lovely coffee, great atmosphere and very good prices. My Rolo slice was delicious, staff were extremely friendly! I wish this place was local to me as I'd be coming every weekend! Next time I'm visiting the area I'll definitely be returning.
We were warmly greeted by staff and our order taken without delay. The coffee was top quality and the cakes which are made by the cook were top quality too, and not over priced.
