I called Access 1 Auto Glass, after not getting anywhere with Safelite. Access 1 was able to give me a quote, schedule an appointment and take the deposit in only a matter of a few minutes. When it came time for installation, the process was stress free and very laid back. Michelle was friendly and helpful every step of the way. This is just the kind of service that we expect from people/ businesses but rarely get. I HIGHLY recommend Access 1 Auto Glass to anyone.

On a side note... Windshield chip repairs are only $25!

Someone broke into my car broke my rear window and messed with the starter/ignition area. Called so many places to find the parts of my car sold out or out of stock. Called Access one and got in contact w Michelle. She was kind enough to search for me until she found the part the same day ! Scheduled me for the following ! Came in for just the window and had a chat about the starter/ignition missing and she located the part for me as well for me to pick up same day to place into my car. I’m super grateful !!!!

Awesome, quick service with a smile. Affordable glass. The owner, Michelle was also kind enough to give me a bag of local Beef Jerky, gratis as the saleswoman was in the building and I had no cash at the time. All and all a pleasant experience.

People, please fix those window chips quickly before windshields crack and require costly replacement! Act fast!

TLDR: Dishonest, knowingly voided my warranty and scratched my car, but refuses to repair damage.

I was referred to Access 1 Auto Glass by the Subaru North Dealership. The Subaru employee, Ronelle, who referred me to Access 1 told me I could not get my windshield replaced at the dealership. This was absolutely not true, as the Subaru dealership manager later confirmed to me. The Subaru employee Ronelle is friends with Michelle Gebler owner of Access 1 Auto Glass, which is likely why she insisted I go there. What follows is a description of how Access 1 Auto Glass voided my warranty and damaged my property, and is currently refusing to repair the damage. Don’t get mixed up in this scam like I did!!

I took my Subaru Crosstrek to Access 1 Auto Glass to get my windshield replaced. I spoke with Michelle a couple times before dropping my car off, and Michelle ensured me that the work would not void my warranty – this included using factory glass and having my eyesight technology recalibrated. When I picked up my car I noticed that the glass was covering my VIN number. Michelle said they put the wrong size windshield on my car and she would need to reorder and fix it. I drove my car straight to the official Subaru North dealership, where the service manager took a look at the windshield and was shocked. Not only did Access 1 Auto Glass cover my VIN number, but they also left a huge gap on the left side of the windshield, installed aftermarket glass – which voided my warranty. The Subaru dealership service manager also informed me that only Subaru dealerships can perform recalibration on eyesight technology, and the recalibration done at Access 1 also voided my warranty.

At this point, after Michelle was so dishonest and provided such low quality service, I did not want or trust her to fix the job correctly. Thankfully the Subaru service manager replaced the glass and recalibrated the car for me free of charge.

This is not the end of the story though, when Subaru took the bad windshield off my car they noticed that Access 1 Auto Glass had left a deep scratch in my car. I called Michelle to tell her about the scratch and asked her to fix it, which she refused to do because “I didn’t let her fix the windshield mistake she made.” How does that make her not responsible for the damage she caused? It was telling that Michelle never at any point denied making the scratch. Michelle also tried defending herself by saying that I never requested factory glass, which is a lie, as I asked her several times to confirm that the work she was doing would not void my warranty. Michelle also argued with me about her ability to recalibrate Subaru eyesight technology; she is adamant that she can recalibrate without voiding the warranty. She even asked me “why can I recalibrate other people’s vehicles and not yours!?” This is completely false information as the Subaru dealer confirmed that she cannot do this work without voiding the warranty. She obviously is not an expert in her field if she does not know this, or she is just lying to people, knowingly voiding people's warranties.

Michelle is dishonest, and does not take accountability for her mistakes. You can always tell a person’s/business’s character by how they handle making a mistake. Avoid this shop if you care about your warranty and if you want an honest, accountable business.
