Abington was one of our campsite stops (Mount View Caravan Park) on our Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride in June 2021. Thank heavens little village stores like this one still exist - they were a lifesaver all along our ride up the length of Britain, and I have fond memories of this little store in Abington. We rolled into the village at teatime, absolutely worn out and this little store soon provided us with a bag full of goodies to take back to the campsite and feast on that night to replenish our worn out energy! In fact, the next morning we also stopped here to fill up our panniers with some nice goodies for our lunch as we pressed onwards on our journey north. Nice clean shop, lovely lady serving us, and very good selection of just about everything you might need. Thank heavens for these little village stores :)
Made a stop here instead of Motorway Services & was not disappointed. Had the soup and roll which was very tasty. Staff were pleasant and attentive so cannot mirror others experiences. Would definitely use this again as a viable alternative to motorway offerings!
Great place to grab a very good coffee whilst you charge your electric car at the rapid charger 2 minuite walk away
Good strong coffee, a bowl of tasty broccoli and Stilton soup and roll with black pudding. The Stilton was just crumbled in and melting in the soup as it was served, black pudding was flavoursome and the roll fresh. Very friendly staff, highly recommend as pit stop off the motorway.
Had soup from this store. Although tasty it was only half a cup, 5 small table spoons if I was lucky. A roll costing £0.25p. £0.60 with butter really. This is why we are called rip off Britain. Sorry I won't be back.
We often visit this store on way to visit grandchildren.

While we are at it, should someone in a wheelchair just get up and walk to use this store since its "just for a few minutes"
all staff very friendly and helpful, if anything not in stock they will order it in for you, serves good food sit in or take away,post office opening hours same as shop hours, regular good offers on all products
