Needed urgent help fixing a burst pipe that was causing steam to billow out and an overheated engine. Called Glenn and he offered to slot me in, sourced the part from Plymouth, and billed very fairly - all done in about 5 hours. Excellent service.
I’ve used Abbey Garage a couple times now, very close and convenient to me, I’ve found Glenn more than helpful and very accommodating at short notice, excellent service and very reasonable…will continue to use for any future requirements including MOT…all in all….excellent service and highly recommended
Whilst on holiday the exhaust came off my car on Dartmoor. Took very noisy car to Abbey Garage. Left it with them at one o'clock while we walked into town for some lunch. Phoned the garage at 3 o'clock and car was ready, with a new exhaust fitted at a very reasonable price. Unbelievably good service, and if I lived locally I would now make this my garage of choice.
I have been going to this garage for about 5 years now. I can’t recommend this place enough. Glen and his team are incredibly helpful. I don’t know much about cars and had a misfiring issue. Glen got a video up from YouTube and showed me what should be happening for my car to work properly and then explained what was going wrong in my car. I really appreciated this. He made sure I understood what he was talking about. Not only this, but Glen has gone out of his way to help me with my car repairs. I know I can rely on Glen and his team to safely repair and maintain my car whilst also keeping me up to date on everything before anything is even done to my car. They’ve been great in the past at fitting me in at the last minute too. I really cannot recommend this Garage enough. Thank you to you all for your great service :)
Very happy I found this place by chance! I lost all the electronics in my van that I’m currently staying in on Tuesday
night, dashboard doing all sorts of weird things, recovered to abbey garage on Wednesday morning, even with a full schedule and short staffed glen fit me in and the lads had me up and running the next morning! Glen was great, really wanted to get the job done right and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted properly and quickly for me, replacing both the alternator and a ruined battery. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs general/emergency repairs! Cheers
Have used this garage for service and MOT for several years and have always received excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for Glen and his team. Today our exhaust had a problem with a support clip. We drove straight to Abbey Garage and within 10 minutes we were sorted and on our way with a temporary repair. Will return next week for welding. Cannot recommend this garage more highly. Deserves 6 stars ! This review was left in the ether for two years!!! Glen has continued to give us excellent service since including dropping everything to replace a flat battery during lockdown as we had not been using the car much. Cannot recommend this garage highly enough!
Both my cousins where starting Day 2 of there Lands End to John o Groats adventure for charity, when our camper started to overheat heading up into Dartmoor. I left them to it and found by pure chance Abbey Garage. These guys we're proper hero's. Without a thought they found the problem (a leaking coolant pipe) fixed it, replenished the coolant and I was back caught up with my team within a couple of hours free of charge!!! These mechanic's are genuine helpful, kind and trustworthy. Use them!!!!!! Thank you so much from Arran Richard & Simon. Both my cousins made it to John o Groats within the 10 days they had planned ????????♂️????♀️????????????????????
