Been visiting the a&a team 11 plus year's
Sadly we said goodbye to wife's old car 25 and now has mums so was on tenterhooks. But didn't need to worry all staff stars,gentleman.
Firm ref mot but honesty is there motto. If it needs a part tell you if not then all OK.
Highly recommend this great garage
Really impressed with how quickly the problem was diagnosed and fixed. My pulley had disintegrated which meant the alternator wasnt charging my battery anymore. This left me without any power steering. They took one look at about 3pm on a Friday and it was fixed by about half 9 on Saturday. Would definitely recommend
My mk5 golf engine mounts all snapped off engine was on floor went to few garages and was told my engine needs replacing and the cost is £600 i then took it to a&a autos and they fixed same engine with new engine mounts for £270
Ok he got it going for me but when I was doing around 55 mph and had to start slowing down it would shake sometimes thinking it needs a wheel tracking oh my god when it went for a MOT straight away they failed it and deemed it very dangerous due to work that was done and the knock it had suffered the chassis was bent another £700 was spent
Considering he was working on the car while it was on a hydraulic ramp
Could have been kind to at least advise me about how dangerous it is ????

Good, reliable at competitive price
took my car in for a MOT the Brake pump was gone and they went out of their way to help me and get it fixed. brilliant service and would use them again.
Been taking all my cars for over 10 years for MOT, service and repairs.
Had a problem on one of my cars and wife took it another local garage. Was quoted over £500.00. Brought the car here and cost was £25.00.
One of few out there that are still honest and reliable.
Wanted to leave a review we recently had at a and a autos in Dewsbury.
Car went for it's MOT and failed. We where quoted £210 on top to do the jobs (ball joint covers mainly.) It was booked Monday. Monday night they called to say two employees called on sick so they would do it Tuesday (today). Called us to say its ready and the price is £380. They can't really explain why its almost double, they didn't even call to check if they should go ahead. We had to pay because they had our car but we won't be using them again.
So anyone wanting an MOT I'd avoid it if you don't want extra suprise costs, if you do use them get a quote in writing from them!
