Hit or miss, but worth a try. On a good day, the food is good the hookahs are smooth. On a bad day, there is no food and the staff is scarce. But, it has potential, so we keep trying.
Loved the ambience. The manager Sheree was professional and very patient. When ordering something to eat,you must try the dip. I wanted to hear the music because the DJ was playing some bops. Nice place to chill and connect with friends or the locals..best part it's a black own establishment
I came to 12Twelve for their silent disco. I had a blast! If you smoke anything, you'll love being in the bldg. However, I came on another day and spent $90+ on food to go. The bartender gave me the wrong amount of money back. She asked me if it was enough. So, I guess if I was sneaky, I could have gotten a lot of money back from her. Then, the food came. It was HORRIBLE!!! The food was VERY SALTY and tasted really bad!! For them to have such an awesome menu, the food sucked! They either need to change the menu or fire the chef. The bartender asked me to give her my receipt so that she could give it to the chef because there was an issue with the ticket printing in the back and the chef had no idea what I wanted. The ONLY REASON they got 2 stars is because the silent disco was nice. DO NOT EAT HERE!
The food is good. The decor is very good and inviting. The only issue that my group encountered was that they were working out kinks with their service. We sat down and waited for at least 8 min before we were Greeted by our severs. She was a sweetheart, but stretched thin.

$2 tequila and tacos was TERRIBLE!!! I went for my bday and it was an awful experience. The bartender was nice but definitely needed help!!! My friends and I sat for long periods without drinks. They also didnt have mixers for drinks or top shelf liquor. The tacos were NOT good. They were over cooked, bland and served cold with no condiments. Additionally, the fish tacos had bones in them. In an attempt to resolve our concerns over numerous issues, one of the two owners was VERY rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone going there, nor do I ever plan to return.
The owner is so unprofessional and very rude, the establishment always has nice events but once you interact with the owner the ruins the mood. Her staff even looks annoyed when they deal with her. She feels the need to tell patrons she’s the owner when she wants them to do anything. She like a rapid chihuahua that’s barking orders and has know idea how to interact with paying customers. She is the pits and needs to be back of the house.She makes black owned businesses look bad and it’s actually sad and disheartening.
The club is gorgeous and has a nice setting. However, the owner (a woman with blonde hair) is very rude & unprofessional. First, the kitchen takes about an hour to make buffalo wings. When asking for a refund, the owner refuses to do so, stating that the menu says “No refunds”. I’ve never heard that about any place that serves food so I asked her to show me on the menu where it said that andshe couldnt; she immediately becomes rude with her responses, as if she was offended. After repeatedly explaining that I waited very long for the food and that I was no longer hungry, she told me that I would have to find someone to purchase the wings so that I can get my refund. How unprofessional is that? Customer service is very horrible! Kitchen is slow! And the owner is distasteful! I don’t recommend anyone invest in having private parties there. You will leave there very upset & unheard.
May 13th 2018, my girls made reservations two weeks ago for twelve DC for 11am. The doors were opened at 11:20am. Brunch was served at 12:50pm. The options for Brunch was limited. The customer service was mediocre and the bartender was on her second day, however, she accommodate us with complimentary drinks. As a food truck owner, efficiency and timely constraint is very important in me. I would not recommend this establishment unless they did a full retraining of staff and opening procedures.
