Stumbled across this place "getting lost" in downtown Fort Pierce. Staff was very accommodating. The food was on point and a great place of the beates path to just chill and have a beer and a couple bites. Everything we ordered to eat was good. The beet goat cheese was our favorite, just wished it had a bit more goat cheese. Will definitely be back.
Chef Jiggs always has one of his chef specials that you just can't get anywhere else. The staff is great, service is awesome, and the food is out of this world. Great waterfront place to spend a couple hours for some food & drinks. Live music most nights, and a dog friendly patio. On the corner of Orange Ave and Melody Ln, downtown Ft. Pierce.
Unique (atypical) takes on tapas from the very passionate Sullivan University Culinary School (Louisville) graduate, Chef Jiggs, who has been helming the 12-year-old bistro serving pan-European style and locally sourced small plates for the last five months. One dish had to be remade because the line cook instead of the exec chef sent it out (gambas), and it didn’t represent what he wanted. Otherwise, the food was excellent. Highly recommended intimate restaurant.
Outrageous prices for Tapas that are known for small portions at a small price…! I ordered Octopus to go for… $25.00… because they explained “it is to be shared”… so I thought it was an Entree for two at that price… haha!
The photo of the plate talks by itself (size of my hand :)
Inside the box, octopus was mixed with potatoes cut at the same size to give the illusion that it was all octopus…!
In a very acid sauce, and 4 pieces of bread put above the warm octopus that became wet of course… They brought another box instead of changing my bread…
See the pics. And if you don’t want a rip off… DO NOT order anything above $20.00: they have no idea of food pricing
Regarding the Menu prices: look my picture of the menu dated: Nov 15, 2022. The other menus are outdated and most do not have the food mentioned….
They probably charge because of the band and music… and instead of charging a supplement for this entertainment, they charge you a “To Go” food at the same price… Just go to to Spain if you want Tapas…!!!
Had a nice lunch with a beautiful view, as I sat outside. Angela was absolutely delightful and welcoming. I had the Pan Con Tomate. I loved how the baguette had softness to it and the crust was lightly crusty. She helped me choose a beautiful Spanish Sparkling wine to pair with my meal. It was lovely. Look forward to coming back.
Thank you, Angela.
the menu and the nights specials. He was totally on top of everything.
Now let me tell you about the food. OMG!!!! Outstanding is an understatement. We had Street Corn, Mushrooms and Octopus tapas style. We also had the Salmon entre. I never had salmon that melted in your mouth until tonight. Everything was amazing including the special dessert the chef Angela prepared for us. Smores! How cool. I never had them before. The Chef actually came out of the kitchen and greeted everyone in the restaurant. We felt like we knew her for years. This restaurant is a "DO not miss"!
Well I have to say , if you haven't been to 121 Tapas on the Water you don't know what you are missing! What a cozy, and wonderful place this is. Tonight was Flamenco night. They had an amazing guitar player and dancer. The service was outstanding! Nelson was awesome! He took the time to explain every dish on the menu and the nights specials. He was totally on top of everything.

Really good food! Scallops are huge and delicious! Portions are on the small side, but the taste is awesome!
We started with the diver scallops, the rock shrimp, and the olive tray. Then we finished with the goat cheese flat bread (bacon on only half). Everything was delicious.
The seating inside was strange, with chairs and a half couch that seemed to be from Ross. Not very comfy, minus one star. Outside seating is a available, too.
Recommended!
