The food was fresh, well seasoned, crispy and fried to perfection.
The fries were crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center flat and wide or steak cut. You get a lot of fries a small amount of coleslaw. I was fine with that my Wife loves coleslaw. We had cocktails, me 2, Her 1. I regret I do not remember the names. Forgive me 120. It was my birthday. I turned 50. We stayed at a cabin on the lake up the road. It was Sunday after the OH/MI game. It snowed. The restaurant was serving mostly take out we decided to eat in. With that being said. The staff was not very engaging. The wonderful gal taking our order was kind and attentive. However the person behind the bar responded with a snarl any time I had a question or comment. If I was being inconsiderate because of inclement weather and choosing to eat in... I apologize, again. Other than that. It is beautifully decorated. The fish was so delicious the drinks... I had some kind of... old mule???? I think. ???? I will edit in my Wife's drink. It's served in a copper mug so cold. I remember ginger, I think mint, I just am fuzzy. My cancer affects my bones. And extreme cold wreaks havoc with my motor and cognitive abilities. I did at least remember to take pictures. There was rich wood and ample seating around the bar. It's a really beautiful place. Everyone was very sweet and patient with my over the top personality. As long as the weather isn't bad, do check this place out. Its right on Maple lake. Bad weather is really bad weather. I get it. will most certainly will be back. And every star is deserved. Those two young men cooked their arses off. ????????????????????
Fantastic restaurant! Great food, friendly service and an extensive beer menu. Everything we have tried has been wonderful. Love the fries!
Fabulous place to chill and have a beer. Service was excellent - my salmon was plated wonderfully, and tasted so good. Definitely plan on going back.
Lots of meals on the menu looked good. We ended up getting the cheeseburger doobies, which were like egg rolls, and the smoked salmon appetizer plate in addition to our meals. I got the whitefish with lemon orzo and veggies. Everything was really good!
One of my companions got a goober burger, which had peanut butter, brie, and a slightly spicy raspberry jam. It had a lot of flavors that went well together. The other got the steak medallions with risotto and goat cheese, which the friendly server said was his favorite. I didn't get any pictures of their meals because I didn't want to be too weird.
There was an outdoor patio with live music, but we sat inside.
We were just passing through, but very glad to find this place.
We have been here several time and the service each time has been fantastic. Tonight I seen they offered duck breast with a pomegranate reduction and it was fantastic. The burgers like always are spot on, cooked well, seasoned well. Then there is the fries, they couldn’t get any better. Hands good good place filled with good people
One my favorite go to spots. Never disappoints. I always leave happier than when I arrived. Staff, service and food are top notch.
Don’t sleep on this place! Justin was great. I always have a handful of questions when I’m in a new place and he was happy to answer them. He said most of the food is made from scratch. He recommended the Cuban and I approve! The food was also great. We sat at the bar, as we didn’t want to tie up the larger tables. While sitting there, we observed how clean it was behind the bar. I highly recommend!
Generally one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. The bartender is incredible and we always look forward to seeing him when we go in. I love the food and the atmosphere here. They always have exciting specials and my favorite item on their menu is the pulled pork mac and cheese, it's amazing and their BBQ sauce is delicious.
My only complaint would be the doobies are now to expensive to even consider when I come in to eat and I used to get them as an appetizer every time.
