Ok, y'all, when I tell you this spot right here is the place, believe that! I don't care where you live, how far the drive, it is worth every minute of it!! First off the place is clean clean, the music is jamming, softly playing, the service, oh the service, I've never had it like that before. Ms. Auntie was super amazing. I got a chance to sit and chat with Alicia, the owner, and just loved her vibe! She's amazing. I hope nothing but blessings on her and her family and that she can keep cooking. She'll see me a million more times. Thank you for a great experience, GREAT food, and a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. You have a regular in me. Oh, try the fall off the bone ribs. The sauce is the winner! It's 10×s better y'all!!
I'd give yall a 15 if I could. My only wish is that I found yall earlier on my trip to Detroit instead of on my last evening. Food was so damn good I tipped the kitchen staff ???? ???????? Will definitely return just to get some of the peach cobbler. Yall did yall thing! Kudos ????????
I've definitely had better.... for the price and quantity of food, it really wasn't as good as we thought. In my and my husband's opinion, it was just okay. We may try it again to be sure.
We took our meals home although we both agreed that the atmosphere was good and the waiter was very friendly.
I only picked up a Mac and cheese as I love Mac and cheese and I wasn’t too hungry, the lady at the drive through window was very nice, and I am not saying this a bad place to eat as the only thing I’ve tried so far is the Mac and cheese, I just didn’t like it. The noodles were too soft it wasn’t thick and there was no cheese crust on top which I LOVE. Soul food places are my go to for Mac and cheese, but the lady who was working was very nice and welcoming, I 100 percent plan to come back and try the fried tilapia and collard greens, and maybe even give the Mac and cheese another try, maybe the bake just wasn’t the best today!
I must say this the first Soulfood restaurant we been to and it wasn't too salty. The service was amazing and you get a nice amount of food! We'll definitely be back!!!
Only gave 3 star because they black owned and had excellent customer service.
I'm disappointed in the food ONLY and I'm sad even more disappointed because it cost $28 for just MY meal. LIKE GOOD GRIEF!
It was EXTREMELY pricey but I wanted to show them some support and I said I'm a rock with it anyway.
I ordered the 5pc chicken whole wing dinner, with mac and cheese candy yams and then I got an additional side of collard greens it also came with a cornbread roll and peach cobbler. When I say I was DISAPPOINTED in ALL OF IT.
As a plus it was package very nicely it came out hot and fresh.
I mean it WASN'T nasty and inedible.
It was just MEDIOCRE and flavor BARELY any seasoning. The peace cobbler broke my heart.
NOW LISTEN UP.....don't take my review as the gospel.

I'm giving my honest opinion on my experience.
Everyone's experience will be different.
I do recommend that you go try them out. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.
Sometimes that happens.
I do plan to try them again next month.
So I haven't counted this restaurant out completely.
Service was Outstanding!! I had the ribs with okra and baked beans. I'm from Memphis and sweet sauce just ain't my thang. But the Service was Awesome!! Overall I had a great experience. ????
Picked up my husband and I food. Looked at the sides and thought to myself the sides look like less food than normal but didn’t say anything. I gave my husband his food and upon opening he says I don’t have the usual amount looks like less! For the prices please don’t start cheating people out the fair amount of food! That’s how you lose loyal customers like myself!
