Had the Turkish breakfast and it was sooo good. Really cute little place. Nice atmosphere and lovely food.
I’m attempting to eat breakfast in every Gatley cafe. I’ve done about half. This is my fave place so far
Always a lovely little spot in Gatley, the toffee latte is a favourite of mine! I had the pancakes today for the first time & they were delicious. Nutella, banana, blueberries & strawberries added to really well made pancakes.
Reasonably priced with friendly staff and amazing food. Wide selection of delicious foods to suit all tastes. You can tell the cooks are passionate about not only the quality of ingredients but the way they are prepared and presented. The English breakfast was delicious and not greasy at all. The cheese cake is a must also. Would definitely drive out of my way to eat here.
A few of us went for lunch to take back to the office. I had the Turkish sausage baguette and it was delicious. Price seems quite reasonable for the quality so I would go back again. Certainly better value and quality than going to Greggs or Subway! The sandwich came with chips and salad which was average but what you would expect at this price point and the fact it is a casual cafe and not a restaurant.
Atmosphere inside the cafe looked nice and it was pretty busy.
The lady who served us was nice and polite and the food was served quickly and efficiently so no complaints there.
Had the full English breakfast ???? Fantastic! Great portion size, everything was cooked properly and piping hot. Partner had Turkish breakfast, again very plentiful and amazing sujuk sausage was super tasty! Everything was well presented and the staff were lovely. Was a bit more expensive than I normally go for, but definitely worth it for such great tasting food.
Another new café option recently opened in the area. Now almost spoilt for choice at breakfast / brunch / lunch. ( sadly still miss Mathers in Gatley.) Flic took me there for brunch. Good americano (£2.90) followed by the small breakfast. (£9.25) Boss had a cheese and ham panini. (£9.45) All enjoyed the food. Nice interior in what was a ladies hair salon for many years. Seems to have got off to a good start.
Called today when visiting the area. Very welcoming exterior. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. Service excellent. I had the leek and potato soup - the best I have ever had- seasoned to perfection and my husband had a delicious egg and bacon sandwich. Wish we lived closer!
The most beautiful cafe do you know why? The staff, they are so attentive to your needs and will cater for whatever, I watch in silence as I’m a regular customer and the young lad who works there is an absolute delight, if you’re the owner of this cafe and reading this, the young lad who works there is impeccable, I own a restaurant in Chorlton on Barlow Moor Road and I know what exceptional service looks like when I see it, this lad cares and it’s great to see. Quick service, great staff 10/10
