Staying nearby in hotel I ventured to this takeaway and after reading reviews I was a tad sceptical. I was greeted by a young chap very polite and welcoming. My food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Just bought duck mushroom with fried rice, absolutely disgusting the fried rice was nice but the duck mushroom was revolting the sauce was dark and congeled, looks like it was thickened with bisto gravy, sorry but it went in the bin,roasted cheese instead
Can't say much really as the food is outstanding.Just a hell of a wait on one of our recent visits.
Ordered a king prawn curry last night and it was inedible, you could have used it to strip paint, and you won a prize if you found more than 2 prawns.
When I phoned to complain there attitude not helpful.
Not the first bad meal I've had from there recently, change of cook/owner?
Won't be back.
Avoid at all cost
The sweet and sour king prawns in batter are excellent and highly recommended them
The rice is lovely, the chips I find are good and I really enjoy the gravy sauce
I’m a fussy eater and I would say that if I’m willing to get a take out from there anytime
I regularly 10+ miles for this Chinese, it's that good!
I ordered my Chinese at 17.30 I gt told it would be 30-40mins had to phone at 18.50 to find whare it was and then again at 19.10, I got told it was on it's way they forgot it. When it came I had to reheat it.
I'm not impressed
Ordered a delivery at 6.10pm. It arrived at 7.45pm when my husband let the delivery driver know he was not happy he walked away with the food!!! DD said they don't usually deliver as far out as we were, even though I gave my postcode at the very beginning. Shocking service!
