I have been going to Yummy House for about 9 years now and it's the only local place I go for this cuisine. The food is consistent in terms of taste and quality, and the family are very professional, polite and efficient. I always know that my order will be well made. I have tried a number of other local take-aways and this is comfortably the best one.
Food was fine but made to feel very uncomfortable by the delivery driver who accused me of not paying, despite the fact I'd paid on card via just eat before delivery. Doubt he'd have said the same to my partner. Disgraceful way to speak to a woman. If he was so adamant that I had not paid, why did he leave without a fuss after my second rebuttal of his accusation?

Have been using Yummy House for a few years now. Couldn't fault it. However, on 1st January ordered our usual meals. We tend to eat half one night and the remainder the night after. My mother who hasn't ate meat for 40 yrs now found 3 substantial pieces of chicken in her king prawn & mushroom curry. I rang to let them know, and whilst it's not the end of the world an apology would have been nice. Because I hadn't reported it on the day I bought the curry ( because I didn't know about it then) there's nothing to be done about it. I was just asked what he wanted me to do about it. Sorry would be good. I really dislike dealing with Companies that will not accept they are at fault. So I have learnt my lesson and won't be dealing with this one in the future.

I visited and ordered from Yummy House for the first time recently and the team were all super helpful when I enquired about the vegetarian options, and I was not disappointed by the food either, it tasted great!
I’ll definitely be returning my custom to here whenever I want a Chinese takeaway in the future and I would recommend it to anyone local to the Hall Green/Shirley/Solihull area.
Wouldn't recommend asked for chicken curry and chicken fried rice. Instead I got some white rubber imitation chicken and it tasted very bland anyone who thinks this takeaway is good need to get your taste buds examined
This is very average, the egg fried rice hardly had any egg in it and was of a poor quality. The currys were quite watery and lacked flavour compared to other chinese take aways that I have had, the chow mein was decent and the food was made very quickly, all in all I wouldn't order from here again.
