We live 100 yards away from what we think is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. My wife and I love their food, which they always cook for us just how we like it (extra spicy). Their special chow mein is our personal fave. We've ordered from Yummy at least a hundred times now, and they've never let us down. The owners are lovely people. Big thumbs up from us!
This our go-to. You know when you've found your Chinese takeaway. Well, we've found ours. Alway hot and delicious and tons of it too.
Ordered from this Chinese last night. Well " "yummy Chinese" wasn't yummy at all! We ordered several dishes in the hope that atleast one dish would be nice. Chicken curry was watered down, I go as far as saying the chicken was swimming in the sauce it was that watered down. Same went for the beef in black bean, which also had a strange taste to it. Prawn toast was tasteless, no prawn taste at all. Vegetable chow mein was tasteless we had to had out own soy sauce to it to give it some flavour. Egg fried rice was average. If your thinking of ordering from this place don't unless you fancy a bland, tasteless watered down meal that cost you £40.
How did I ever miss this place. Been looking for a decent Chinese takeaway for years and now finally found it. Just ordered Singapore fried rice, special sweet and sour and prawn toast. All items absolutely top class. This place is as good as Chinese restaurants I've been to in York and Scarborough and is different class to other take aways in the area.

Best Chinese I've had! Lived in York for a year and couldn't find a Chinese takeaway better than yummy! The salt and pepper chips are perfect, the prawn toast is nice and thick, there's no greasy taste to the food and, if you spend a certain amount, you get free spring rolls which are nice and crispy! I seriously couldn't recommend this place enough!
This is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had! It is always cooked to perfection and tastes 'clean' (no old fat taste) and they clearly use fresh ingredients! Absolutely delicious! I really can't rate them enough. And service is fast too, which is a bonus.
Had their £6.50 meal box tonight... Worst Chinese meal I have ever had unfortunately... Chewy, rubbery chicken pieces, greasy bland egg fried rice, tough-as-leather spring rolls. Salt and pepper chips were reasonably ok. Never used them before but won't again. Delivery prompt though and staff polite and pleasant.
