Best KPortal Reviews
Came here for Sunday lunch and couldn't fault it. All Fresh veg delicious. Even though we booked late and had last sitting food excellent. Friendly pleasant staff will definitely be booking again!
Here for Wednesday Curry Night - the home cooked Chicken Tikka Curry was superb washed down with a pint of Witches Brew - the house bitter
Stayed 3 nights above the Pub in the new rooms. Excellent, nice inviting modern and very clean. Bed was perfect. Just down the hall a fully equipped community kitchen if needed. Quiet. The pub is family run, great atmosphere. Polite and super Staff, large offer of Beers, food was more than average.
Food was average at best, seats were dirty as was the first knife and fork I was given, with no apology when I pointed out the dirty cutlery. Just seen your questions below, we came about 4 weeks ago on a Sunday, sat on the table opposite the bar, directly to the right of the main door, I think the lady that took the cutlery was the boss. If you doubt my review go and have a look at the dirty chairs that are beer stained, their still there!
Today 5 of us went for Sunday lunch. Luckily we had pre booked as it was busy.
Lovely friendly welcome on arrival as we came in from the cold wind into a nice cosy entrance and then the nice welcome bar.
We ordered our drinks and then found our reserved table. Our efficient and friendly bar staff came and took our orders, some beef, Turkey or pork, with all the trimmings.
Quick efficient service and our main orders arrived piping hot with side dishes of vegetables and cauliflower cheese.
One of the best Sunday lunches on Anglesey.
There is also a lovely dessert menu, if you can manage it, available too.
Such a lovely, cosy bar/restaurant with friendly and efficient staff with 5 star customers service.
Highly recommended.
Super friendly, really accomodating staff. Best dining experience in wales by far. Literally the only place i would return to for another meal.
Lovely pub with great menu, plenty of gluten free options too!
Went for evening drinks with friends and all I wanted was tea. Knowing they don't have decaff I took my own tea bags! Previously its been a pot of hot water but amazed its now a cup of hot water for £2. Not sure why about 10 unecessary little pots of milk were provided with it, just one would have been plenty!
