Dr Mehroz and getting amazing help from him and his staff and getting so much help sorting my issues out a lot quicker and efficient aswell as giving me great pointers with their amazing knowledge!
Very difficult to get hold of the pharmacy. They very rarely pick up the phone and can take up to 3 hours trying before someone does. It is very frustrating.
Other than this a good pharmacy, always has prescriptions and very knowledgeable.
I always try and use local smaller companies / shops even if slightly more expensive and have used this pharmacy for years. I went in today , the lady behind counter wasnt' the friendliest, and then I was told I CANT PAY WITH CASH. This really annoys me so I left and got my items from tesco cheaper and payed with cash.
I feel that all Pharmacies should accept all cash ,as many elderly people give their neighbours, friends or family cash to pay for the medicinal items they need.
I felt the need to leave my own review in an attempt to provide a counter to all the less positive reviews here. This pharmacy fields a vast number of prescriptions from the local Eden surgeries, who have pushed their in-house dispensing service to a community pharmacy. The result of this is that this pharmacy handles a volume of prescriptions which is vastly more than the pharmacy has the size or capacity to manage, but manage they do. For those of you that go in there, take a look around- every inch of space is filled with filled prescriptions waiting for collection, or stock waiting to go into bags. Hundreds of new prescriptions turn up every day, and the staff do their absolute best to fill these as quickly as they can. Instead of moaning, complaining and sometimes even shouting at them for what is really the shortcoming of the local GP practice, which will not magically make your prescription appear any faster, show some grace, patience and gratitude for the harried people who are overwhelmed at times by the volume of demand but still do their absolute best to provide a much needed service to the local community. They're doing their best for you and I have always found this pharmacy and its people to be patient, polite and helpful.
Booked an appointment for a flu jab and found the experience to be extremely easy. The pharmacist was very professional and will going back again next year …
Was told that if I was not happy with the service I should go elsewhere, so I did!!! Get my prescription delivered to my door by Newport Pharmacy every month, no problems!
Best of all, I don't have to go into the store, wait an eternity whilst they make up my prescription, or any old excuse why they haven't got it, and deal with the most miserable staff.
Just not happy with the service received. Twice didn't get my pills on time. And no say: thank you, goodbye, nothing. Communication between Yogi Pharmacy and my GP- nightmare. All problems I have to sort out by myself.
The short girl with the glasses is extremely rude and unprofessional. You enter the shop she’s busy chatting about private business in front of customers and does not acknowledge them. Completely fails to ensure correct medication is prescribed on time. It’s a shame because the rest of the staff are fine
