Loved our quick visit to Yeldersley Farm vending stop!
Been passed a few times but decided to stop yday, lots to take in at the vending room, but we figured out how to get the 1l glass bottle, and filled up! Just £1.50 for the milk, definitely worth it and I'd much rather support farmers directly - I'm really glad they are now selling direct ????
Decided on a Raspberry milkshake, and even just 1 shot in the 1l bottle still had the flavour come through ???? and tasted Great!
You can pay for everything but the flavourings by card, but if you don't have change, you can get that from the vending carousel too (fab idea!).
Thanks to all at Yeldersley Farms ???? we will definitely stop again ????
Loved finding Yeldersley Farm.
The milk , brownies and not to mention the awesome coffee machine.
Also Zena is lovely and so open to tell you how the farm is ran etc
24/7 so ever on the A52 to Ashbourne/Derby pop in.
Love this place, we wouldn't get our milk from anywhere else. The creamy top on the milk is just like the old days when it was delivered to your door. Lots of local produce for sale such as brownies and cheeses etc. The coffee machine produces lovely coffee & all with the same fresh Yeldersley milk ????????
Remember to support local farms, No Farmers, No food, No future ????????????
Really lovely 24hr shop, we always stop by for some fresh milk and some of the local owned farmer wares, it is a little pricey in comparison to supermarkets but definitely 100% worth it to support local farmers! They also make homemade food and cakes occasionally and they are excellent! Top knotch! Absolutely love it me and my family are repeat customers
After buying my first bottle and "milk bot" milk from Diddly Squat Farm earlier in the year we have now started collecting the branded
glass bottles which look lovely filled with white sand on their own shelf. We've made a point of trying to find somewhere that sells these each time we are on a family outing, so whilst taking a detour last night on the way home from Alton Towers to get petrol we drove past Yeldersley Farm (completely unbeknown to us) we just happened to spot the "FRESH MILK" sign and quickly turned the car around. This place looks and smells like a proper working farm, it's wonderful ???? inside the milk shed is the bottle vending machine along with a few snacks, the milk bot, a lovely milkshake cabinet, the honesty box for the milkshake, another vending machine with plastic milk bottles and a coffee machine that also does hot chocolate. Everything is card payable except the milkshake which is cash in the honesty box. As we had only came for a milk bottle that's what I got, filled it up with lovely fresh milk and headed home. Drank the milk this morning which is very tasty, much better than the supermarkets can offer. And the bottle is now drying ready to be placed on it's shelf. All in all a fantastic little find and somewhere you should try if you haven't! 10/10
Amazing farm shop ...my whole family loved it and want to go back to get more milk ,Milkshake with lovely extra Favours.
Thanks ???? For the excellent self serivce
Little bit dodgy machines. They can bug out a bit but is an absolute fun experience till you get over charged ????
Didn't look very inviting. Thought it was a run down farm at first glance, no one was around didn't see much parking fit about 8 cars unless something was closed off?, then saw vending machines through the door. I'd rather know it was fresh as i dont know how long its been in a vending machine for, ive been to farms similar before that serve fresh milk or milkshake over the counter with a chance to see a few cows as we had are little one so thought it could be an experience for her but we didn't stop left as fast as we arrived. Sorry but people have different opinions. This just wasn't for us. With no one there it almost felt like we weren't supposed to be there and that we we trespassing.
