Best KPortal Reviews
I ordered food, was overcharged. I explained I ordered an EXTRA not a whole meal. Bar man said he misunderstood but CANNOT refund me. Checked with manager Paul and he also refused to refund me. So I've paid £4 more for a mistake the bar man made and they don't care if I write a review! This pub is shocking, I've been here 7 years now. Poor service, dead after 8pm and the manager is extremely rude and doesn't care. Right now as we speak there is a huge queue of people at the bar, going outside the door. Poor service. Never will come here again.
The bitter was good and the staff were friendly when I visited, late on a weeknight. Kitchen had closed at 9:30 pm, so food not available. The pub spacious and not crowded, although there were a few groups having a quiet chat. Cosy atmosphere. There’s also a huge patio that I’m sure would be great in the summer. Exit 3 from Swiss Cottage tube station.
A traditional Samuel Smith's pub offering a good selection of their ales, as well as wines and spirits.
Like most Samuel Smith's pubs, despite having traditional style pub surroundings, it lacks any soul or atmosphere due to Humphrey Smith's archaic rules.
In the area for the day, so called in here for a meal and drink before heading out of London.
Pub lovely and warm on a cold day.
Staff friendly.
Ordered a coffee - no milk! They found some eventually after we offered to pop across the road to get some.
Took 25 minutes for the coffee to arrive, so didn't order food as we had a train to catch!
Pub located just outside Swiss Cottage underground. Iconic building but dated inside and needs refreshing as little atmosphere.
Guy serving was lovely and friendly but very dead inside! Only 9 of us in there on a Saturday afternoon!
Good selection of beverages but they are by Samuel Smith so not your regular larger and spirits! Reasonable price £4.50 for a Alpine larger.
As trailed here on Google reviews, an intriguing but pleasant place for a pint. Very quiet when I visited on a Sunday evening; staff were welcoming enough and offered a Sam smiths selection which was fine. The main draw here is the oddity of the building, but I’m genuinely drawn back by the quiet, warm and inviting atmosphere.
Haven't been there for about 6 years. Same tatty interior but on a plus got dart boards. Excellent staff. Prices are stupid, £9.20 for a white wine and lemonade charged me over £2 for a splash of lemonade. Now got outside kiosks to smoke all though all let the rain drop in.
Great location just outside the underground. Plenty of picnic table seating outside for the summer. Inside is a bit dark but has all the traditional pub ambience. The landlord keeps a couple of beers at a lower price ( a bitter and a larger). Much appreciated! I haven’t tried the food but it’s a regular pub for me when I’m in the area.
