Large pub on the market place. Yet again it is a Bass outlet on hand pump. Very noisy disco pub on this Sunday. Had a quiz earlier and thumping music and flashing lights still going at 7pm. Big outside area courtyard, much of it covered.
Great atmosphere, lovely locals and a hello to Dan the bar man!

Awful pub. Astronomical prices. £9.50 for a double gin and tonic. So that was Gordon's gin, served in a half pint glass. Sunday afternoon... disco music blaring, toilets smelled rancid and the place was empty. I wonder why !!
Service was very polite.Drinks were good.Pub seems to be very clicky if you are a stranger.Lovely fire burning away.Ladies toilets were quite dirty which isn't good though.
Just to inform you about a load of smashed glass outside and around your pub, my dog has almost cut her paws open.

Absolutely disgusting dirty bar. ???? never again if I could give minus plus I would. How is it even allowed to stay open? Very rude landlady.
Had a fantastic family time at the Talbot staff and locals were very friendly ????????the cold scoops were very cheap ????????enjoyed bye all ????????????????????we are definitely going back next year and stopping at Uttoxeter race course ????????????????????????
