Had a great meal at Yatzen Contemporary Oriental Restaurant and Takeaway last night. Haven’t been there since before covid and when it reopened for seating in. Lovely food, friendly and great service from the staff and very reasonable price. Will def be making regular visits, thanks to all the Yatzen staff ????
The worse Chinese I've ever had. Spent over £40 and only 2 dishes were edible.
I don't know how you get a chicken curry wrong but was literally chicken stirred into the sauce. Also, so bland.
My partner ordered food. It came, had a few hairs in it wrapped around the noodles. She took pictures and informed the yatzen staff.
She then had TWO angry rude staff turn up at the house and proceeded to argue with her..
Refused to believe that they had done anything wrong. Rather than even offer to replace the food with no fuss, they then proceeded to dial 999 on MY doorstep.
Disgusting rude attitude and could have sorted it simply but decided an argument was what they wanted. Disgusting.
Called ahead with a takeaway order for collection. All ready when I arrived, the team at Yatzen were all very pleasant and very interactive. The food was lovely, tasty and still hot by the time I got home. A lovely meal was had by all.
Disappointed. Have ordered in the past and enjoyed a takeaway. Tonight’s food was not great . The chicken in cashew nuts was in slime and quite repulsive. The rest was bland and just not good. Sadly will not order from here again.
Awful, was watery bluey/green sauce that gave me nausea and dehydration. It was supposed to be Thai green curry but they used food colours. The starters were fine but Won't be ordering again.
Had a Sunday evening buffet here, I would certainly recommend it to anyone! The food was piping hot and the portions were sensible sizes too! The staff in here are always very polite and friendly and offer some great ideas on how to make the most of the meal.
Ordered a Chinese tonight 13th February for a valentines meal /50th wedding Anniversary meal in which I was very disappointed, I asked for no carrots in the chicken & cashew nut dish due to an allergy problem but there was an excessive amount in there, Also the the chicken was very dry and we was unable to eat it . It spoiled our evening very disappointed.
Also it was very expensive.
