DISGRACEFUL!!. Waiting times on the phone are almost always up to 2 hours.
Pensioners are being left to suffer due to the greedy surgery having to few staff to cover calls from patients - they should be defunded!
Avoid - get a decent doctors practice. THESE PEOPLE APPEAR TO HAVE NO SHAME AND SEEM PUT PROFITS BEFORE PEOPLE!
I LOOK FORWARD TO A RESPONSE!!!
Ridiculous. The app to book appointments hasn't been available since Covid. When will this be available again? Also the surgery will make you telephone at 8am or 1pm ONLY and if you happen to call slightly later there is a good chance you will not get an appointment.
Reception staff abused me I asked her about my dad ringing 115 times and why nobody answered the phone she stated she answered the phone and stated my dad was complaining of chest pain and panicing she stated she put the phone on my dad as he was ringing the wrong services he died that day 15/03/23 from and heart attack we found on friday they also changed there number that week to cover it up what she had done to my dad I was so alarmed by what she said I pressed record on my phone she rang the police saying I was taken photos and recording of her which I was trying get evidence of her abuse toward me and my dad the police said no crime was committed when they arrived she as had me struck of and made sure I can't be listed with any other gp all for trying to evidence what she was saying me what a disgusting practice who let my dad die I've got life threatening illness and I've been left without a docter or any help I'm sick to my stomach I suffering from panic attacks and ptsd now having nightmares since they do not help patient a regular ignore patients all the time beware of this practice they should be under investigation as they've failed me and other family members like my grandma and grandad who died from there negligence also warning do not use this this surgery very bad for your health the reception staff don't have hearts or compassion will leave you to suffer in aweful pain like they do me I can hardly walk yet they do nothing to relieve me form this I feel like I'm dieing they ignore me they say its my mental health I wish it was don't no where to turn I need help can't go on with this pain if I die it's because they let me from Lisa Mcnamara I am panicking and quite frightened
Have to agree with Dawn M- who's also stepped in a few times to help me with mine.
I often have to go to out of hours doctors or end up in a and e from not being able to get to or see my doctor. I have difficulties with phone calls.
When I do get an appointment, the doctor is lovely and very helpful with sorting my meds, helping with a few mental issues I have and helping me sort out referrals and who I can contact for further assistance.
Its trying to get that appointment that often ends up in having to take weeks off work or carrying my phone around at work for an out of hours doctor to get back to me.
I've had bad patches where I've left work in an ambulance or had to be run on to Blackburn for help.
As a patient of pendle Valley practice, I can't stress enough how poor it is managed. The phones are not answered. Getting an appointment is not timely. In the past I was given a 2 week wait for an appointment I called 111 and from that phone call I was admitted to hospital with a ruptured umbilical hernia rushed into Blackburn operated on and released within 14 hours. Had I waited for the 2 weeks id of been dead. Pvp is not a doctors surgery. it's a money-making merrygo round for people with aislements.
This place is a disgrace, is like private business run by few who are feeling unmovable, been refused to pass reception, always Dr too busy according to reception staff( but if you go there is nobody) been refused appointment many times, basically call tomorrow always same answer. Very rude reception staff. They play big part in my problems. Been of phone another day from 8 o'clock and been refused. Absolutely disgusting people. Updated: Doctor says see me after 2 weeks, need to review test and need to take my medicine. Reception stuff keep refusing appointment, refusing prescription - "because need to speak with doctor" but according to the same person "is no doctor". Already been two months and can't have my medicine, can't see or speak with my GP". That is criminal.
Tried to get appointment for daughter. Was told to ring back this afternoon.... ring back in the morning.... ring back this afternoon... ring back in the morning... etc etc. Eventually I explained the problem again, and the urgency again... and was told I needed to keep trying as they have over 13,000 patients!! I rang 101 who told me I needed to take her to the doctor (no surprise) and the paramedic I spoke to referred it to them and said they would ring me back before 6.... if they didn't I had to ring 101. No prizes for guessing I had to ring back as the doctor STILL didn't ring!! 101 could refer me to the out of hours at primary care???? I can't believe just how downhill this surgery has gone.... or the fact that there is a sign saying they are taking new patients!! WHAT!! U can't even care for the ones u have!!
Diagnosed with Gout
Staff very good
