We would like to thank Raj for his service and warm welcome, he was very friendly and kept making sure we were comfortable and making sure we were getting what we needed. Joel, the chef just want to say you are doing a brilliant 7 Star job in his food presentation and taste. First time coming to The Red Lion and the service and food was beyond expectation.
Will definitely be visiting again in future!
Thank you!!
Owner was so lovely and friendly. Definition of service with a smile! Food arrived quickly and so tasty! Would 100% go again. (I had pie of the day, a drink and a chocolate pudding)
I had a Sunday Roast there last weekend and it was delicious. Great range of foods and very tasty! They served pork and beef and both meats were great. The mash was deliciously buttery and the gravy was tasty too. I would recommend it. (Btw, I over pepper every dish I have ????, so that was me and not them)
And the staff were very friendly.
Lovely little pub! Popped in for some lunch which was lovely. The bar man (who we assumed was the owner?) was really friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. It is also a dog friendly pub, our doggie enjoyed his treats and water! Would definitely recommend and visit again if back in the area! Thank you so much!
Place was quiet but made to feel very welcome. Usual pub offerings available. Food decent and reasonably priced. Had a nice pint of Sunbeam and wine apparently good. To sum up; it was traditional pub food at a reasonable price.
What a hidden gem! Dog friendly, with water bowls and biscuits; great music, the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. And, whilst waiting for our food, we got to play a traditional game of Connect 4 which we would never normally have done! Food is superb! Will definitely visit again!
Dog friendly! Service was great, they brought over a game for us to play. Smaller menu, but everything was prepared perfectly. Fries were nice and crispy. Very cozy spot to stop for a meal.
The food and service here is incredible, the staff are very kind and friendly, and the food is very well presented and delicious. Only nit-pick would be that the beer garden could use some serious TLC, fabric sofas probably isn't the best choice of material for outdoors as they looked a little worn and mouldy, and there seems to be an array of random furniture, packaging and other items scattered around. However the indoor area is very clean and well organized.
