Best KPortal Reviews

The carne asada was disgusting! It was reheated not fresh. Service was awful! Drinks empty. Had to ask twice for chips. They are so busy cleaning to close, they could care a less about us. No free refills is a major disappointment.
Food was very good. Best cheese enchiladas I've had in a long time. Sauce was mild and very tasty. Good sized portions and quality for the reasonable prices. Attentive service. Stop in and check them out!
I’ve eaten at the Globe-Miami Mexican food restaurants since I was a boy in Globe in the 50’s and 60’s and have continued since. I’ve always recommended them to friends. Yesterday was the poorest Number “5” meal I have ever been served. The Regular burro was small with a meager filling and the tortilla was dry and tough. The enchilada was small with very little sauce. Even the taco had little filling and the tortilla was not sufficiently crisp. Even worse was the fact that the beans resulted in gas in a way that indicated they had either not been soaked or perhaps not pressure cooked. Never had that reaction before. Abuela Reynoso would be embarrassed. I’ll either drive to Globe or go to the Mill Avenue site in the future. Very disappointed!
I was excited to finally try a Casa Reynoso restaurant because I've heard great reviews. Let's just say I won't be back. Not only do they charge for extra chips, but the portions we're the smallest and skimpiest I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. My husband and I both ordered a combo plate. The flavors were just blah and tasted more from a can than from scratch. They started closing up shop at 7:40 even though they close at 8:00. Some positives were the salsa and at least the food came out hot. Super disappointed for all the hype.
This place has been an institution for my in-laws for over a decade, but has unfortunately gone downhill recently. It’s just sad—not even 3 years ago this was a 5/5 spot for me, and I still generally like the taste of the food.
My wife has easily eaten here 50+ times in her life and today ordered a burrito with beans that very clearly had a burnt taste to them. The waitress responded with a dismissive “what do you want me to do about it?” attitude. Didn’t seem all that interested in communicating to the kitchen that their current batch of beans was burnt, and instead treated my wife like she was lying to get a free meal (which we didn’t, because she didn’t eat any more of the burrito after the first bite of beans, nor did we take it home with us).
It’s already been hard to stomach prices here rising by 30-50% over the last 2 years on shrinking serving sizes that weren’t anywhere close to “large” to begin with, on top of the nickel-and-diming mentioned by other reviewers. This is just another unfortunate ding that’s not making me want to go back any time soon.
I had some minor heart surgery the day we ate there. I hadn't eaten for 18 hours. Even so, the food was outstanding. Order the Chile relleno and ask for it to be topped with red sauce. This is no ordinary red sauce. It is the nectar of the gods.
The food is delicious! Globe style Mexican food that never disappoints. Excellent service and the restaurant has a very warm friendly environment. This is my go to whenever I take a friend out to lunch or dinner.
Finally tried this place hoping to enjoy the same kind of delicious food as in Globe AZ and the Casa Reynosa in Tempe. Huge mistake. Atmosphere is bland, waitress unfriendly, and food was so salty & overcooked we couldn't eat it. Taco shell was burned! We left without eating it. I didn't even box it up for my dogs it was so awful! Definitely not using the family recipe that I grew up around in Globe. Thank goodness the Tempe location is as good as always. I don't recommend this place to anyone that appreciates good Mexican food. Extremely disappointed and saddened it wasn't what we'd expected from a Casa Reynosa restaurant ???? ???? ????
