Happy to have this as my local as it always delivers really tasty chips. When there was a muddle up with an order a while back they actually gave us another whole chips for free as compensation so the service is always great and the staff are very friendly. My friend's nephew had some cheesy chips recently and he was so happy, he even said it was up there with some of the best chips he's had.
Really good chippy, food is always perfect. My only issue is that they quite often close earlier than advertised on a Friday/Saturday night which means we have to go elsewhere.
Absolutely ridiculous. Worst fish in Gloucestershire, can't speak for the chips because i didn't realise when you order online you're paying £9 for just the cod which was greasy and the batter soggy. Its a con because every other item like the chicken comes with chips. I remember when this place was actually decent but I wouldn't waste your money here. Some places just need to be forgotten and this is one of them. Better places to go and not waste your money. I will be certainly voicing My opinion loudly. I spent £20 on 2 fish and a tiny pot of curry sauce. I'm better off going to a restaurant for that money! It's a working man's meal not gourmet. As you can tell I'm fuming. You're a disgrace to traditional community fish and chip shops across the country. Be ashamed of yourselves.

Only brought a cone of chips and small curry sauce tonight, £3.30 ???? By far the worst chips we have ever had. Telephoned to tell them, but after several calls, still no answer. Certainly will never use them again, even though we live in walking distance.
This is my fourth time using them as they are within walking distance however this is the third time they have left something off of my order. I went back to pick up the pie that they left off and it was given to my by a lady cleaning the floor. She didn't wash her hands, she didn't use tongs, she just got her dirty floor hands right in there and sent me away with a nice cold pie. Couldn't eat the floor pie and by the time I got home the chips were cold and straight in the bin. Waste of money and time. Again.... Will not use again.
I sent my sisters boy to this Chippy yesterday diner time and when he came back with the food it was so dry you could not eat it and it went in the bin it's the worst chips I have ever had and I might as well have put my £23.00 in the bin as well
So people don't bother get your fish and chips from here
