Nice pub and nice food. Sometimes you have to wait to order. Mac n cheese was lovely
Great customer service, quick service and lovely food. It has a lovely garden which has a children's climbing frame, two plastic globes in which you can stand and smoke in if it's raining and also a large covered decking area. The Wkye Down is family and dog friendly and has a good atmosphere. There is a games room consisting of two pool tables. Myself and family visited Sunday afternoon for a carvery and was pleasantly surprised with all the trimmings they had to offer. Will certainly be returning.

Honestly, I visit here every couple of months maybe if not more, and the food is always excellent, staff are superb. Never ever had anything less than great food here.
Only reason I don't visit more is families treating the pub as a childrens indoor playground. Quite off putting tbf.
I cannot thank the team at Wyke Down enough, for 'saving the day' on Saturday. We were let down by a pub near Pewsey where we had booked tables for our very large family. At very short notice (less than an hour) Wyke Down were able to accommodate 24 of us (15 adults, 5 children and 3 toddlers in highchairs) - we had choice of full menu, which included options for our vegetarians - all meals arrived at same time; all hot; all generous portions; and delicious.

Lovely place to eat, great food, very pleasant staff and service.
First time we arrived on a Sunday and really enjoyed the food! The pub is clean with a lot of open space and dog friendly. Brownie and ice cream itself tasted delicious ! Although there were few things we did not like it as much, the food overall was well presented as well as the table was laid out nicely. We will come again soon.
Tasty pub food menu. Loveky surroundings. Not the best choice of Ale but well worth a visit.
