Blonde haired woman on deli today. Asked for three dinners and she said there was no roast potatoes. Wasn’t a problem and asked could I have the dinners anyways. Would have thought I was asking for a kidney. Let out a deliberately loud sigh and was only she was serving my food I was being patient. Needs to learn to be more patient with paying customers.
Normally when I go here for fuel the pumps make a pumping sound, the digits go up but no petrol goes into my car. Had this issue about 3 times now. Other than that good shop
Quick grab and go local convenience store. Decent selection of groceries at reasonable prices. Also a post office and filling station at this location.
Have used the shop for years, but of late it has got way more expensive then other shops in the town, the in house salads and butcher goods has got smaller but also cost more, now I understand a price increase but to give less and charge more isn’t on, the hot food counter is charging more then a chip shop for food that’s sitting for long period of times, they also are the first to put fuel prices up but one of the last to put it down
Need to price check the town shops. Some items are £2 more expensive than other shops??
This is the go-to shop for daily grocery needs. The deli counter is pretty good. The shop is always well-kept and tidy. Fuel service is pre-paid; some people mightn't enjoy that, but it doesn't bother me. Having the post office on site is a bonus.
Only used the post office, but from 1st impressions, clean, tidy well stocked, and post office lady was very friendly, great customer service.
Good place to stop for fuel car wash and hot food. Friendly staff
