What an amazing place.Food was so good, and a lot of it had to take some home in a pretty box. The staff were absolutely amazing.Really, Phyllis went above and beyond for my friend who was dairy and egg intolerant.I really loved it there. The house is beautiful, and you are really made welcome.I will definitely be going back.A++++.
Beautiful surroundings... A 'step back in time' atmosphere. Presentation of the high tea was delicate and eye catching.. Delicious and wonderful selection of home made sandwiches and cakes.. The Lady of the house (Phyllis) takes time with the guests and explains the history and direct connection of the high tea to the house! A card and a Birthday banner were already on the table awaiting my 81 yr old mother, a beautiful touch!
Highly recommended
Will return again! ????
We were a group of six friends who had a really delicious afternoon tea today at Woodbank House. The food was all beautiful - and some of us are keen bakers ourselves! The staff were most attentive and we we enjoyed chatting with Phylis who was a great hostess. The ambiance was lovely too and we really appreciated the vintage China and table linen. Absolutely worth the drive from
Belfast!
First time at this unique tea room venue, can't wait to visit again. The tea rooms are located in the 2 front rooms of this beautiful Georgian period property. Transported to a bygone era, with vintage plates, cups saucers etc, to create a fabulous ambience. The afternoon tea was delicious with an abundance and array of delicious sweet and savoury treats. The soup was also very tasty. Very good value for money. The staff were all so pleasant and attentive. Nothing was any trouble. The lady who owns the place is also very warm and welcoming. Fabulous food and superb customer service and care. A hidden gem. Look forward to returning very soon. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Fantastic afternoon tea with my best friend, it was her birthday and they did a lovely touch by having a card and birthday sign on the table. The tea ???? was beautiful from the fresh sandwiches, savouries, tray bakes and the most lightest sponge I have ever tasted. The host and staff were so fabulous I can't wait to return thankyou for a lovely afternoon with beautiful views and fantastic staff ❤️ ????
Afternoon tea was amazing. A great variety of sweet & savoury. Woodbank House never disappoints. Many thanks to Phyllis & her waiting staff.
Was here for a WI outing/celebration at being able to get out and about again. As always the food here was fabulous, even those Coeliacs with us had their own Afternoon Tea platters, on par with ours. I love coming here, so friendly and welcoming, it's a working farm, Grade B listed, but set in beautiful surroundings
Excellent afternoon tea, Phyllis is the most gracious hostess, makes the experience even more special. I would rate this afternoon tea one of the best in Northern Ireland. 5 stars ????
