Thursday night dinner with the fam. It was my first time here and was surprised by the third floor dining area. The second floor was packed, so we ended up on the third. Didn't expect that much space from what I saw on the outside.
Flavors were good and quantity for the price was excellent.
Update: We've gone back for dinner a few more times. The in-laws keep complaining about the quality, but keep coming back anyway. I'm perfectly happy with the food.
Food are superb. Don't get the first floor look fool you, the upstair is really nice. One of the waiter has an attitude when answering the questions.
We came to Won Kok for our Chinese new year dinner. They gave us the entire upper floor even though there was only 10 of us. Service was excellent. Since I didn't order, I wasn't sure the specifics of what the dishes were. Everything tasted fine. The highlights for me were the pumpkin crab, pea shoots, fried tofu and the sticky rice stuffed inside the chicken. The bill was around $800+ tip. Good job everyone at Won Kok.

Always have a great meal here. Squab was delicious with nice crispy skin. Cauliflower stir fry is a favorite of mine, tofu with eggplant was a winner, Hot and sour soup was excellent. Love coming here. Service is always friendly.

For authentic Chinese food in a no-frills environment, this is the place!
When the place is packed...and it almost always is (during dinner hours)...the sound level is high and it can be difficult to get up and move about, but the food makes it totally worth it.
If you want the delicious stuff, go there!

Excellent Cantonese restaurant. Family style, can get loud and rowdy. But guess what? It makes you feel like you're in Asia! The food is the best part. Authentic and reasonably priced. Squab, pork knuckle, steamed fish and crab seems to be the more popular dishes.
Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Bay Area (speaking as a Taiwanese person w a Cantonese dad). Would love to come back and try the sets they have for 10 people. It was bustling with Chinese/cantonese guests when we were there. The food was so yummy! Not all dishes were pictured… Also the menu is big with a ton of choices! Staff were helpful and responsive.
