This was a childhood favorite and didn't disappoint when I visited with my own kids. My only complaint is that they no longer have a soft serve machine, but the kids still enjoyed the scoops of ice cream.
The everything dog was a unique adventure! Something you have to try on the adventure of Chicagoland food. It had a lot going on. Wolff’s is a classic dive place with great food
Wolfy's Chicago style hot gog was good here. The fries were delicious and their cheesy sauce was great to dip both fries and dogs into ???? ????
I ordered a Philly steak sandwich from [Fast Food Place], but it was a letdown. Instead of steak, they used Italian beef, just slightly grilled. The sandwich had more grilled onions than meat, making it taste more like a dry Italian beef sandwich with onions and peppers. Overall, it was the worst Philly steak sandwich I've ever had.
Great Chicago hot dog! So fresh and nice skinny fries. The menu has many options so there's something for everyone. Can't wait to go back and try more.
Really good dog at a fair price, ingredients and bun are fresh. Gyro looks good, and they grill fresh hamburgers to order. I’ll have to try both next time!
In our tasting, the Chicago dog, polish sausage, gyro and french fries were all excellent. The serving of Italian beef was a heaping helping. Ordered dipped, with "sweet peppers" instead of "hot peppers", it was served with about a quarter of a good-sized green bell, in two sections. The beef was a tad on the dry side, and not very flavorful. Burger was also a bit disappointing. That said, service was friendly and top notch, they have cool t-shirts for only $15, and their sign is iconic.
I was finally able to visit Wolfy's and wasn't disappointed! Love the classic sign in front of the place. Had a jumbo char dog. It was definitely one of the best Chicago dogs I've ever had.
