My friends and I called ahead and asked if they were taking walk ins and they gladly accepted us! We each had a picture of something to base our tattoos off of, and they took the ideas and made them so much better! And the price was great and fair too. I’m extremely happy with my tattoo and will recommend it to everyone! Thank you Larry!
Mateo you Rock!! I ran into the little brother/intern at Taco Bell while my mom was in the hospital and asked him where he was getting his work done. He told me his brother that owns Wolf's Head was doing the work and that he was interning for Mateo.
My mother passed a couple of days later and I wanted to get something done as a tribute to her and went to the shop to discuss ideas and pricing. I made an appointment for when Mateo was going to be available.
I returned home to Texas to spend time with my family and my oldest daughter who wants to be an artist wanted to do the design. I gave her some design ideas to incorporate and let her run with it.
With design in hand I returned for my appointment and with some minor tweaks for better durability and visibility Mateo set my daughter's design to memorialize her grandmother into my arm.
Thanks again Guys. The entire shop rocks and all of them are talented artist in their own right. If I lived in ABQ I would definitely have more work done at Wolf's Head Tattoo..
Very nice atmosphere and professional artists. I have always gone to this shop for tattoos and have never been disappointed. I've only been able to get tattoos from Larry and Rick, but I am looking forward to getting tattooed by everyone there, as they are all very talented and have their own very cool distinct styles.
Best in Albuquerque and the southwest for that matter. The artwork is beyond amazing. Tattoo shop's don't have this kind of quality anymore. Special thanks to Mateo for keeping the class and elegance in a tough industry.
